The New Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow Foundation is the newest product launch in the Hourglass Ambient Collection. I’ve always thought the Ambient Collection is all about having your very own lighting technician, who follows you around all day, and all night! The Ambient Glow Foundation is a fluid foundation that gives you medium, buildable coverage, 16 hour wear-time, and creates a light diffusing effect. It’s like your second skin!
You can find the New Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow Foundation at Ulta, Sephora, Blue Mercury, Nordstrom, Selfridges, and on the Hourglass Website. The Ambient Soft Glow Foundation (1 fl. 0z./ 30 mL) costs $58.
The outer carton is signature Hourglass deep bronze metallic, with gold writing. 
Even more important, the carton is FSC-Certified Paper, and is widely recyclable. The clear foundation bottle is made from glass, which is also widely recyclable. 
But, first, remove the plastic cap and pump dispenser before placing the bottle and carton in their proper recycle bins.

The formula is infused with blurring spheres, that provide a light-diffusing effect. This helps in minimizing the look of imperfections, so that your skin looks smooth and glowing in any light. Also included in the formula are antioxidants, that protect your skin from free radicals. Light Diffusing Pigments deliver a natural, soft focus, and help protect skin from blue light. The formula has many benefits, including blurring imperfections, and minimizing the look of pores, fine lines and wrinkles. Also the long-wearing formula has a 16 hour wear time. Even more, the formula is transfer resistant and humidity and sweat resistant. Your skin will have a natural, soft glow finish, and a smooth, even soft-focus finish, that is like a second skin. Above all, the formula is vegan and cruelty free.
The formula is alcohol-free, gluten-free, paraben free, phthalates-free, synthetic fragrance free, and talc-free.
The Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow Foundation comes in 32 shades that range from the fairest of the fair, very fair, light, light medium, medium, medium deep, deep, very deep and deepest. The undertones include cool, warm and neutral. I purchased two of the foundations, 6.5, and 7.5.
6.5 is for a Light-Medium complexion with neutral undertones.
A weightless liquid foundation that delivers medium, buildable coverage with a light-diffusing effect. this shade will be perfect when I lose the summer suntan. 
So, in the meantime, I also purchased 7.5.
7.5 is a light-medium shade with neutral undertones that takes it up a notch, so it looks better on top of a tan.
