New from Tom Ford is Tom Ford Shadow Extreme. To begin with, there are 20 eye shadow singles in the Extreme collection. Furthermore, the shadows come in two different, defined finishes. Six shades have a Glitter Finish. And, fourteen shades have a melted metal foil finish. Above all, what sets the Extremes apart from Tom Ford’s other shadows, is they make a huge statement. Moreover, the shades and finishes make them fun to wear.

You can find the Tom Ford Shadow Extreme Collection at Beautylish and Sephora. The Extreme Shadows retail for $36 each.
Tom Ford Shadow Extreme Packaging

First, the Shadow Extremes come in a clutch-sized, mirrored mini compact.

The packaging is Tom Ford’s Extreme Packaging. Basically, it is a sleek, reflective chrome.

I love that each of these teeny, tiny compacts has a mirror. As a result, they are perfect to put in a clutch or miniaudiere for quick touch ups.
Tom Ford Shadow Extreme Formula

For one thing, the formula has long-wearing polymers. As a result, the highly pigmented formula will last a long time. Furthermore, the shades come in two well-defined, noticeable finishes. First, the glitter finish is made with micronized glitter. Second, the metal finish is a melted metal, foiled finish.
Tom Ford Shadow Extreme Shades

First of all, Tom Ford did not give the Shadow Extremes names. Instead he gave them numbers. For example, “TFX21” can be translated to mean Tom Ford Extreme (in shade) 21. For the simple reason that numbers tell you virtually nothing about the shade, it is easier to describe the shade itself.

TFX8 is teal with a metallic finish.

TFX17 is teal with a glitter finish.

TFX13 is a red-blue shade that has a metallic finish.

TFX15 is pink with a glitter finish.

TFX6 is violet with a metallic finish.
Tom Ford Shadow Extreme Last But Not least……………….

Seeing that the swatches are gorgeous, it is easy to say I’m in love with the colors, and the finishes in this collection. Also, I am thrilled that the Shadow Extremes are water-resistant! In other words, they are sweat-proof! Considering it is summer, and the heat and humidity could make an iceberg melt, water-resistant is a great thing!
Finally, I applied the shadows with my fingers. Therefore, I suggest you use your fingers to apply the six glitter shades, and tap them on the eyes. Moreover, I would use a brush to apply the metallic shades. The shadows glide on easily because they are ultra-thin.

Have you tried any of the new Shadow Extreme shades? Which colors do you like? What is your favorite finish, glitter or metallic? Personally, I love them both! Let me know what you think in the comment section below.
