To begin with, the Duo Stick is easy to apply. First, you can swipe the stick on your face.
In this way, you can use both the foundation and the highlighter together. As a result, you will have a satiny glow. The first swipe of the stick gives you sheer to light coverage. Although, when you swipe it again, the second swipe will give you medium coverage.
Also, you can slant the stick to a 45 degree angle to apply either the foundation, or the highlighter. In this way, you can use each shade by itself.

There are other sticks, such as the Hourglass Vanish Seamless Foundation Stick, that has no scent. Also it gives you more coverage. It really just depends on what you like.
