Melt Makeup Eyeshadow Stacks are as cutting edge as you can get. The brand’s inventors, Lora Arellano and Dana Bomer, met while working in the makeup department at Nordstroms. Both girls felt that the makeup brands were not making what women wanted. For example, women wanted super-pigmented, ultra-matte lipsticks. Also, they wanted unusual colors, like grey, and green. The girls wanted to create and sell these matte lipsticks. As a result, the same day they came out, the lipsticks sold out! Since then, Melt has a cult following. Even more, they have become the one of the most successful Indie Brands. In addition, they have added liquid lipsticks, highlighters, blush and stackable eyeshadow palettes.

Now, Melt Makeup is Sold at Sephora, as well as the Melt Makeup Website.

The Melt Makeup Eyeshadows Stacks cost $58 for a stack of 5 shadows, and $48 for a stack of 4.

Melt Makeup Eyeshadow Stacks Packaging

First of all, I am in LOVE with this packaging! To begin with, the eye shadows come in a circular, black matte pan. Only, the outer ring of the pan is magnetic.

Furthermore, each pan’s magnet attracts another magnetic pan to it. In addition, the magnetic are strong enough to hold the palette together.

As a result, the pans stick together to make a stack of eye shadows.

Moreover, a circular magnetic mirror sits on top of the eye shadows.

Also, this mirror doubles as the lid that covers the stack.
The stack packaging is super convenient. First, it keeps your curated shades together. Also, you can take the mirror, and the shadows you have on for touch ups.

Moreover, the pan size is huge. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that you will hit the pan. Although, if you should hit the pan in one of the stack shadow shades, you can replace that shadow. Therefore you won’t need to purchase a full stack to replace one shade. Initially, it is worth purchasing a stack. First, you’ll get the mirror component. Second, you need the mirror component. One reason is, you need it to cover the top eyeshadow. Otherwise, your eyeshadow has no cover.
Melt Makeup Eyeshadow Stacks Formula

The melt eyeshadows are luxurious. In fact, I consider them as luxurious as Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona Eye Shadows. In addition, the Juvia’s Place Eyeshadows have the intense pigments, as well as fabulous, unique colors, like the Melt makeup Eye Shadow Stacks.
Although, the downside to the powder formula is there is some kickback. Although, it isn’t a big deal. Make sure you tap the excess off of your brush!

I can’t get over how creamy this powder pigment formula is. I was waiting for my finger to sink into the cream. Only, surprise!, it was a powder. My finger didn’t go anywhere. The shadow formula is outstanding. Even the ultra-mattes feel creamy and silky and soft.
Also important, the formula has extreme pigments that stay true to their color. Additionally, the shadows are buildable and blendable. And, they layer beautifully.
Melt Makeup Eyeshadow Stacks in Baby Girl Stack

To start, The Baby Girl Stack has five eye shadows shades that are on fire. Moreover, these five shades are warm tones, and they are Hot!

First, Hopeless Romantix is a Duochrome, a yellow gold shade that shifts to hot pink. You can use this shade as an all over shade. Also, you can use it on your eyelids, as an eye shadow . Then, you can also use Romantix Duochrome as a highlighter that has some punch.

Second, Scammin, a hot Coral Shade, has an ultra-matte finish. Scammin makes a great transition shade. Also, you can wear it all over your eyelids.

Third, Main Squeeze, a red orange shade, is in the signature Ultra-Matte Formula. I like to wear this shade as a blush. I put a little smudge of color on my brush, and I sheer it out on my cheeks. Also, I like wearing this hot shade as an accent shade. For example, I would wear it above the transition shade, toward the outer part of my eye.

Fourth, Crush, a rustic terracotta shade that has a foiled finish. I would use it as an accent color. For example, I would layer it with one of the darker shades and use it as a liner for my lower lashes. Also, I would put on top to add dimension to the shade.

Last, Break Up, a burnt umber shade, that has a matte finish. Break Up is a beautiful crease shade. Also use it on the outer corners of your eyes. Also, wear it on your lower lash line.
Melt Makeup Eyeshadow Stacks in The Shape Shift Stack.

The four shades in the Shape Shift Stack will give you gorgeous, color-shifting eye looks.

These shades are the most fun because, you see one shade in one light, and another shade if you shift your head.

To begin with, Delirium is an intense mauve shade that shifts to a vivid pink shade. I would wear Delirium on my eyelids, and I’d take it up past my crease. Also, if you line your lower lash line, I would put this mauve shade that shifts to a vivid pink, under the line. Also, I would just wear Delirium on my lower lash line.

Next, Chameleon is the most gorgeous Caribbean Sea green/blue color. Also, it has it has blue and lime green glitter flecks in it. First of all, I would wear the Chameleon shade on my eyelids. Also, use it on the outer corners of your eyes. And, I would line my lower lash lines with Chameleon.

Third, Mimic is a steel blue color that shifts to an amethyst shade. I love Mimic on my eyelids. The reason is, this is the best place to see the colors shift. And, isn’t that the point of the Shape Shift Stack? I’m so in love with this one, I would wear it all over my eye, so I can see the gorgeous blue turn to amethyst.

Last, is Shape Shift. It’s a terracotta shade that shifts to a bright jade shade. I’m in love with this shade shifter. I love this shade on the eyelids. I think you would lose the shift if you didn’t use it on the eyelids, where you’ll really be able to see it!

Melt Makeup Eyeshadow Stacks Last But Not Least………..

First, I recommend you use your fingers as one of your application tools. The reason is, the heat from your skin, with meet with the heat from your finger, and the eyeshadows will practically melt on contact. I have never felt a powder formula that felt like a cream. In other words, the formula felt dreamy creamy, soft and silky. Therefore the shadows were a cinch to apply. Also, they were easy to layer. Also, I love the duo-chromes best! The reason is, I think they are well done, and these are your shape shifters. I can’t tell you how impressed I am with these eyeshadows.

It is rare that I compare eyeshadows to the greats, like Pat McGrath and Natasha Denova!! Also, I am a huge fan of Juvia’s Place, and everyone should take a lesson from their creamy matte formulas. And, their price is right! Melt seems expensive. However, you get a lot of product. Also, You probably won’t run out of the colors for years. But, if you do, you can always buy that shade as a single. Remember, if you purchase single shades, you don’t get the mirror.
What do you think of these cool eye shadow Stacks? I love hearing from you. Please write to me in the comment section below. Or, just stop in to say hi!
