Furthermore, the brand commits to manufacturing products with sustainable packaging by using less virgin materials and more recyclable materials like glass and post-consumer recycled plastic.’
The outer box has The FSC Mix Packaging label, meaning that The materials contain a mixture of FSC virgin fiber and/or recycled material. The recycling label denotes the amount of pre and post-consumer recycled fiber used.
Also, the mascara’s sleek packaging was designed by a French Glassmaker to create a sculptural object. So, the tube looks like a figure 8, and 15% recycled glass reduces the use of plastics.
Also, the mascara brush is vegetal, meaning it is made with ultra-soft vegetable fiber bristles that smoothly coat all lashes. Even more, the brush is dual-sided. 
The figure 8 side of the brush is designed to build plush volume. 
The flat side of the brush lifts and sculpts your lashes .
This is not just another black mascara. The formula includes serum that is designed to condition your lashes. Therefore, this is a mascara/serum. 91% of the formula is black balm, which is a very intense black formula that adds to the look of voluminous lashes, as well as conditioning care. Also, the formula is rather dry. There is NO WAX in the formula, so there is no flaking, clumping, smudging, and your lashes don’t get weighted down and they won’t feel heavy. Shea butter makes your lashes feel soft. And the formula includes 8 amino acids, the molecules mostly found in lash keratin, which is what hair is made of, that are enriching for your lashes. Last, the mascara is easy to remove, with just warm water and a cotton pad.
Finally, the balm-based, serum-infused formula needs to be activated on your first use, by drawing the brush fully in and out 8 times , to trigger the formula to start up. Instead of having clumpy lashes, your lashes will be feathery. Do not expect full, thick dramatic lashes.
