There are four parts to this collection. First, is the Chaines De Chanel D’Or Illuminating Blush Powder. Next, are four Ombre Premiere Longwear Powder Eyeshadows. In addition, the collection includes a Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Color.Last, there is a gold nail polish in the collection.

To begin with, the packaging for the Illuminating Blush Powder(front and back) is the iconic shiny black Chanel box, with white writing. Also, the sides of the box are the color of the blush that is inside. 
Next, the compact comes in the traditional black pouch. 
Once you take the case out of the pouch,the compact is the traditional Chanel plastic, shiny black compact. Although, the double C insignia , on the lid, is gold.
Inside, the palette has a large mirror on one side. On the other side, there is a half-moon blush brush. 
Once you remove the brush, and the black plastic that is protecting the blush, the blush pan lies opposite the mirror.
Above all, the blush is embossed with the chain link design that differentiates the Chanel brand from all other brands.
The Formula For The Chanel Les Chaines D’Or Holiday 2020 Illuminating Blush Powder
To start, the soft micro-fine blush formula dusts smoothly on your cheeks. And, it gives a smooth, radiant finish. Also, the finish is not overly shimmery. The blush is not powdery. There is no powder fall out. The soft, silky powder has a gel-like feeling. Even more, the shimmer in the blush is ultra-fine.
In addition, the blush melts into the skin when buffed on with a brush. It creates a soft wash of color. Even more, when light hits your cheeks, the color shifts. And, the color shift is different when light hits your face at different angles.
Also, the blush is long-lasting. I didn’t even wear foundation, and it lasted about 8 hours.
The Illuminating Blush Powder Shade and Application
The Illuminating Blush, a rose gold shade, has a bronze-rosy shimmering, luminous finish. First, I have been wearing the blush on my cheeks. In fact, I will wear it with or without foundation. Either way works!
Also, you can use a stiffer blush brush if you want to pick up more product. In this way, the blush is more intense. On the other hand, if you use the tip of the brush, you can brush it on your cheekbones and temples. As a result, you will get a subtle highlight.
Also, use the flat side of the brush, and brush the blush all over your face. The end result is you’ll get an all-over radiance.

First, the outer box, front and back, is the traditional Chanel black, shiny box with white writing. Although, all of the side of the box are the color of the shade inside. 
Also, the compact comes in the infamous little black pouch. 
Then, the outside of the shiny, black compact, has the double Cs , in gold, on top. 
Inside, there is a mirror on one side. On the other side is the pan of eyeshadow, covered with a protective plastic lid, and an eyeshadow sponge applicator.
Finally, the eyeshadow is embossed with the chain-linked design.
The Formula For The Ombre Premiere Longwear Powder Eyeshadow
To begin with, the shadow formula is an ultra-fine powder with tiny sparkling reflects in it. The reason for the sparkle is to make the shadows shimmer on your eyes, which is a festive look for the holiday season. The shades are easy to apply and easy to blend. I had no fallout. Finally, when applied dry, the pigment is a medium intensity. However, you can intensify the pigment by applying the shadows with a wet brush. And, the shadows are long-wearing!
The Shades Of the Ombre Premiere Longwear Powder Eyeshadows
The Holiday Eyeshadows come in four shades. The shades are Or Antique, Or Blanc, Cuir Brun, and Cuivre Rose. I purchased three of the shades.
First, Or Antique (925) an antiqued deeper gold, has a shimmery, metallic finish
Next, Or Blanc (926), an antiqued white gold, has a shimmering, metallic finish.
Then, Cuir Brun (928), a soft, smokey, cool, deep brown shade, has a shimmery metallic finish.
Also,the shade I didn’t purchase, Cuivre Rose (927), a rose gold shade, has a metallic finish.
Chanel Les Chaines D’Or Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour
There are four Limited Edition Shades in the Allure Luminous Lip Colors in this collection. First, is a nude shimmer. Second is a light plum shimmer. Third, is a bold warm red shimmer. I purchased Pourpre D’Or, a deeper plum shade.
Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour Packaging
First, the Rouge Allure outer box is shiny black, with white writing. Except, the name Rouge Allure, is in gold. Also, the outer box is trimmed in gold.
Then, the lipstick comes in the signature ROUGE ALLURE click case. In addition, the black case, has a golden-trim design.
The Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour Formula
First, the formula includes concentrated, ultra-thin pigments that deliver full coverage and magnify shade intensity. Also included are Sweet almond oil, green tea and sappan wood. These ingredients help smooth, moisturize and protect lips.
Rouge Allure Pourpre D’Or Shade
Pourpre D’Or is a deep plum shade, with a shimmery, luminous finish.
My Final Thoughts On The Chanel Les Chains D’Or Holiday 2020 Collection …..
One other product, I didn’t purchase, is the Le Chaines D’Or Nail Polish, in the gold shade Chain D’Or. It looks beautiful, and is perfect for the holidays. However, I haven’t maintained my nails during the pandemic. The Collection is exactly what you would expect from the Chanel Brand. The makeup is sophisticated, with high quality formulas, and packaging.
What else would you expect from Chanel? I love the Chain links embossed into the powders. Now, that is what I think of when I think of Chanel!If you have sophisticated makeup lovers in your life, anything from this collection would make an amazing gift. I love the Illuminating Blush Powder. It is my favorite item in this collection. It would make a beautiful gift.
