The Shimmer Face Oil is so versatile, you can wear it in so many ways. For example, you can wear the oil over your foundation to create more luminosity. Or, wear it under your foundation, or under your Jones Road Face Pencils to create a luminous base for your makeup! And, wear it in place of your foundation. Furthermore,you can wear the Shimmer Face Oil after your skincare products, Or, if you want a beautiful glow, wear it in place of your makeup! Finally, for an all over body glow, you can apply it to. your arms, legs, and collarbone. Bobbi Brown grabs this product when your and in a hurry, and have no time to apply makeup. She says to wear the Shimmer Oil in place of your makeup, as a highlighter, bronzer, or blush.

The Shimmer Oil has a liquid formula. The Shimmer Oil is oil-based, meaning it contains a blend of 9 natural oils, including jojoba, coconut, sunflower,avocado, camelia, grape seed, sweet almond, Kukui Nut, and Black Raspberry Oil. As a result, the formula has amazing moisturizing benefits for dry skin. Even more, the formula is lightweight, feels silky, and has a glass-like finish. It is a makeup/skincare hybrid that works to wake up your complexion and add radiance to your skin. The antioxidant/antibacterial plant oil is rich in fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals, that are replenishing your skin. According to Bobbi Brown, this is the most versatile shade. If you love dusty rose, this is the shade for you. You can apply Cool Rose before your foundation for an extra lift.
Or you can give yourself an afternoon pick-me-up with this cool, rosy pink shimmer oil.
Pink Opal
Pink Opal, a light pink shade has a fine opalescent shimmeringing finish. 
Pink Opal is great on light and medium skin tones.
Midas
Midas, a gold shade, with a fine monochromatic shimmer, has a glass-like finish. 
This is a wonderful universal shade, that looks spectacular on your collarbone, legs and arms.
Bobbi loves this shade used on your body! Also, Bobbi suggests that you layer this shade with Cool Rose.
Bronze
Bronze, a medium bronze shade,has a gold and silver shimmering finish. This shade is best used on medium, deep,and dark skin tones.

Use the Bronze shade sparingly, or mix the bronze shade with your face cream if you want to dilute it.
Finally, when I first heard about the Shimmer Face Oil, I thought it would be too much like the Jones Road Miracle Balm, which is the product I use most, and love most, in the line. Bobbi Brown explains that the two are different, and are used for different purposes. 
First,the Face Shimmer Oil is a much lighter texture, and has more luminosity,than Miracle Balm. 
She says, think of Miracle Balm as your skin tint. Then, think of Face Shimmer Oil as your highlighter. Plus, the Shimmer Face Oil can be used to highlight your cheeks.
And, you can use the Shimmer Oil all over your body, so your arms, legs, and collarbone will glow.
Also, to apply, use your finger, or a brush, and tap anywhere you want a glow!
