Chanel Spring/Summer 2022 is an exclusive, limited edition collection, exclusively for the Spring-Summer 2022. The Collection includes Les 4 Ombres 747, Mediterraneen. This eyeshadow quad features 4 shades in a range of delicate pinks and browns . The inspiration for the palette, the warm tones of the olive trees and flowers at La Pausa, Gabrielle Chanel’s villa that overlooked the Mediterranean Sea. The Collection also includes Blush Lumiere, illuminating blush powder that comes in two shades. Again, the inspiration for the blush , the light of the Mediterranean sun, shines over La Pausa, Gabrielle Chanel’s villa in the South of France. Also, included as an exclusive creation of the Rouge Allure Velvet, called Rouge Allure Velvet La Comete, an intense matte lip colour in a range of 8 shades. The inspiration for the lipsticks, BIJOUX DE DIAMANTS, Gabrielle Chanel first and only high jewelry collection (where she collected one-of-a-kind jewels. Last, the collection includes Limited Edition Ombre Premiere Laque, longwear liquid eyeshadow, in the shade Lumiere 46.

The Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow in 747 Mediterraneen (0.07 oz. / 2g ) costs $65. The Blush Lumiere Illuminating Powder Blush in Brun Roussi, and/ or Pech Rosee ( 0.49 oz. / 14g ) each costs $70. The Rouge Velvet La Comete , comes in eight shades, I purchased 108 Terre D’Etoiles, and 158 Brun Solaire (0.12 oz. / 3.5g) each costs $42. Ombre Premiere Laque Longwear Liquid Eyeshadow in shade 46 Lumiere (0.20 fl. oz. / 6ml ) costs $36.
Packaging
All of the outer packaging has a shiny black front, and back. 
Then, on the Les 4 Ombres Eyeshadow Quad, all 4 sides each reflect a color in the palette. 
On the Blush Lumiere, the four sides reflect both shades of the blush, on both palettes.
The Blush and Eyeshadow palette cases come in black velvet dust bags. 
Also, the compact cases for the eyeshadow quad, and blush are signature Chanel, with the gold logo in the center of the outside for all three.
Inside, the Les 4 Ombres eyeshadow quad , a full mirror underneath the lid, and on the other side of the mirror are the four pans with four eyeshadows. The eyeshadows each are embossed with the double C, and rays emit from the center, to symbolize the rays of the sun. Also, the quad includes two sponge applicators.
Inside the Blush Lumiere Blush powder palettes, underneath the lid, a full-sized mirror. 
On the other side of the mirror, a fan shaped chanel brush. 
Remove the blush and black plastic cover, 
and like the eyeshadows, there is a double C in the center, with rays radiating from the center, like the rays of the sun.
Rouge Allure Velvet La Comete have gold on the two sides of the outer box. Also, Rouge Allure Velvet is gold. All the writing on all the boxes is in white. 
The Ombre Premiere Laque has a cold strip around 3/4 of the bottom of the box.
The limited edition Rouge Allure Velvet case is a limited edition Rouge Allure Click case.
And, the click, which is on top of the case, is embossed with an assymetrical, 5 pointed star ( Gabrielle Chanel’s good luck charm.)
The Ombre Premiere Laque comes in a square glass tube, with a black chanel lid. 
Twist the lid, and the lid becomes the handle for the liquid eyeshadow applicator, with a flocked doe foot.
Formula
Les 4 Ombres 747 Mediterraneen Palette
To begin with, the shadows are made with pure, concentrated pigments. Then, Chanel has a jellifying system, plus a blend of polymers and spherical powders that give you that soft, creamy texture. Therefore, the shadows are blendable and they are layerable. You can blend two shades together, or use them individually. The long-lasting pigments deliver vibrant color.
Blush Lumiere Brun Roussi, and Peche Rosee
These are limited edition powder blushes. They have a delicate silky soft formula. The blush is illuminating. The rich , vibrant pigments allow for easy, one swipe application for a soft , diffused look. For more intensity, layer the blush. Also, the blush is easy to blend, and easy to apply.
Ombre Premiere Laque 46 Lumiere
This is a long-wearing, metallic effect, liquid eyeshadow. It is buildable if you like a more intense look. While the formula is wet, you can smudge it with your fingers, to create a soft focus look. Work quickly, because the liquid sets quickly, and once the shadow sets, you can’t manipulate it!
Rouge Allure Velvet La Comete
These exclusive, limited edition lipsticks are infused with mother of pearl pigments to create their luminous look. Although the formula is matte, the lipstick is as moisturizing as a satiny lipstick. The lipstick feels weightless on your lips. The lipsticks have a velvety finish. Furthermore, the lipstick lasts a long time, about 8 hours. And, after 8 hours, I still have the lipstick stain. My lips never felt dried out. I am the first person to pass on matte lipsticks because they can dry out my lips in an instant. This Rouge Allure Velvet La Comete is the opposite of the matte lipsticks I’ve come across. I really love the formula.
Shades
Les 4 Ombres 747 Méditerranéen Palette
The eyeshadow quad is a soft, bronzey, neutral palette with sandy Mediterranean colors. You can create an on the beach, golden goddess, bronze look. The luminous, creamy texture is easy to use. The shades can be blended together, or used individually. The long-lasting pigments deliver vibrant color. The soft, smooth texture is easy to apply.
First, the Les 4 Ombres Eyeshadow Palettes each have four eyeshadows. Furthermore, there is one light shade in each of the palettes. And, this is the perfect shade to wear as a highlighter, or a pop of color in the center of your eyelids.
In this palette, the light shade is on the top row, on the right, a golden peach shade, with a luminous finish. Even more, you can wear this pop of color on the inner corners of your eyes.
Next, the Les 4 Ombres Palettes have two medium shades. 
In this palette, the two medium shades are, the shimmery beige shade on the top left and the copper pink shade, 
underneath the shimmering bronze shade, on the bottom left of the palette. For one thing, you can use these two medium shades blended together. On the other hand, you can apply each shade as a contrast color.
Last of all, the fourth shade in each palette is a dark shade. 
This shade is a bronze/chocolate shade, with a luminous finish. It is located under the golden peach shade, on the bottom right side of the palette. Use this shade to add depth to intensify your look. Also, use this intense shade to sculpt your eye, adding definition to your look.
Blush Lumiere in Peche Rosee and Brun Roussi
The shades Peche Rosee and Brun Roussi were inspired by the light of the Riviera.
Peche Rosee, a coral shade with a golden shimmering finish.
Brun Roussi, a moderately warm-toned, medium-dark copper shade, has a satin finish.
Rouge Allure Velvet La Comete Terre D’Etoiles 108, and Brun Solaire 158
Terre D’Etoiles 108 is a warm medium brown shade with rosy undertones, has a luminous matte finish.
Brun Solaire 158 is a moderately warm deep red /burgundy shade with a luminous matte finish.
Ombre Premiere Laque 46 Lumiere
46 Lumiere a warm-toned light gold shade, has a metallic finish.
Final Thoughts
The collection makes me think of summers on a beach, anywhere, and especially my favorite place, Capri, Italy! It’s that good to make me think about Capri, where we haven’t gone since the Pandemic. And, it doesn’t look like we will go there anytime soon. It is a gorgeous collection!
