I purchased the Valentino Color Flip Palette, as well as the Valentino Go-Clutch On The Move Perfecting Powder, a soft matte radiance powder in a Haute Couture Packaging. Also, I purchased some other goodies from the new Valentino Cosmetic Collection. The Color-Flip Multi-Look Eye Palette is really festive. So, it is great for the holidays, for you to enjoy. Although, it is also a gorgeous Haute Couture Gift. For one thing, the Valentino Cosmetics packaging is exceptional. The the high quality formulas are incredible. And, the the shades are outstanding. Valentino is one of my favorite Couture lines. The new Valentino Couture Makeup Collection is innovative, is in keeping with the actual Valentino Brand, and then some! Keep reading to find out more about the Color-Flip Eyeshadow Palette.
The palette has eight shades in matte, shimmer and satin finishes. Also, two of the shades are base colors. And, two of the shades are reflective glimmer shades to add glamour to any look. Also included are 2 satin shades, 1 matte shade, and 1 shimmer shade. The Color -Flip palette can be used for day and night looks.

The Packaging
The packaging of some of the products in the Valentino Cosmetic Collection is half the fun! Like the Valentino Go-Clutch, a soft radiance powder, comes packaged in a clutch-like compact. Only, the clutch/palette can actually be used as a real clutch handbag for evening-wear. In fact, it has a long gold chain , meant for you to wear the clutch on your shoulder. 
The Color-Flip Palette, comes in the signature red outer box, with gold accoutrements, including the signature gold V, is the exact same size palette as the Go-Clutch! 
Also, the case is weighty. It is Valentino red, with gold accoutrements, including the signature gold V. 
Also, both cases open with another signature Valentino icon, the “rock stud.” 
All you need to do is push it in. 
Then lift up on the lid to open. Then, to close, just push down on the lid until you hear a click, which means it is tightly. Inside, a full mirror fits underneath the outer lid.
On the other side of the mirror are four eyeshadows. Or are there four? No, all you do is flip the edge of the four shades, where you would turn the page of a book, and underneath, there is another page of four eyeshadows. Pretty cool.
You get two eyeshadow quads in one case. Finally, on the bottom of the case is a well. 
The well holds two eyeshadow application brushes, with gold handles and synthetic bristles. 
They have short handles so that they fit inside the palette, to be used when you are on the go . When you are home, use your regular brushes! One last thought, the actual brushes are still better than what you find in most other makeup compacts!
The Formula
The pressed powder formula includes shimmer, satin and matte finishes. The shades are super creamy, so when they apply, they feel like silk. They apply smoothly on the eyes. The shades are richly pigmented, so they have good color payoff. Also, you can build and layer the shadows. And, the shimmer shades catch the light. 
Above all, the shades are long-wearing, and last all day. There was no creasing. Also, the colors can be mixed together. There was minimum fallout during application, which is to be expected with a pressed powder formula. The glitter shades should be applied with your fingers, and patted on the eyelid.

The Top Page Shades are Rosso, Bronze, Dusk, and Palazzo.
Rosso
Rosso, a red shade, has a satin finish. You can wear Rosso in your crease.
Bronze
Bronze, a light bronze shade with gold reflects, has a shimmer finish. Apply Bronze all over your eyelids for a diffused effect.
Dusk
Dusk, a milk chocolate shade, has a satin finish. Wear Dusk in the crease and line your upper and lower lash lines with this shade.
Palazzo
Palazzo, a warm brown shade with orange undertones, has a matte finish.

The Bottom Page Shades are Gold, Pearl, Poudre, and Nero.
Gold
Gold, a gold shade, has a metallic shimmer finish. This shade is a top shade, that goes over a base shade. Press this Gold add on shimmer in the corners of your eyes. Or, with your finger, you can pop Gold on the center of your eyelids.
Pearl
Pearl, a neutral beige shade, has a shimmering finish. Again, this is a top shade, that goes over a base shade.Press this qadd on shimmer in the corners of your eyes.
Poudre and Nero Base Shades
Poudre
Poudre, a nude shade, has a matte finish. Poudre is a base shade. The Poudre base shade can be worn all over the eyelids.
Nero
Nero, a black shade, has a creamy matte finish. Nero is another base shade.
My Final Thoughts

This is a gorgeous palette! I am loving the gorgeous shades! The formulas are exceptional! I love that there are two base shades, and two shimmer top shades! This is the perfect Holiday Palette! In fact, I purchased it last summer, and saved it for the Holidays! It is as Haute Couture giftable. The shades are universal, and would look good on everyone. And, the packaging is so Haute Couture, you might want to carry the case as a clutch on New Years Eve!
