The weather has been rather horrific for May. Rain, rain,and more rain – that is all we’ve been experiencing lately! This Hourglass palette is encased in a sleek and small compact, but don’t let that fool you, because you get a lot of product in that palette.
The formula of the Hourglass Illume is lovely. It has a gorgeous emollient texture that appears smudgy and greasy, and slippery, but it really does a great job blending into the skin. It gives skin a gorgeous, natural cream to satin finish. Your skin will look radiant and illuminating.
The palette is extremely multi-tasking. It is a Make Up Artist Cult Favorite. The bronzer can create a subtle tan, or you can use it to add definition to your face. The beautiful rose-colored blush brings a soft, flattering color to your cheeks. And, the champagne highlighter creates a luminous glow without any shimmer or glitter. The colors are sheer enough that they can be blended together to create custom shades.
The weightless cream is extremely bendable. It leaves you with a soft, natural, smooth look. Also one swipe of either a brush or your finger, into the cream, will go a long way.
What I like about Hourglass Illume Sheer Color Trio………….First, I love that it is an Hourglass Product because I think Hourglass does an amazing job infusing their products with groundbreaking active ingredients that are able to create the look of amazing skin. I also like the” texture of the product, the pigments are spot on, and the sleek packaging makes the compact easy for travel. This palette has a subtle quality to it, so it is perfect for the summer when you want to look like you’ve been kissed by the sun.
