Even more, the new Westman Atelier Les Nudes Lip Suede Palette took two years to create. Finally, after two years experimenting with pigments and skin nourishing ingredients, Gucci was able to create her perfect version of a nude lip palette. However, it may, or may not be your perfect version of a nude lip palette.
I am a huge fan of makeup artist, Gucci Westman, Westman Atelier makeup. For me, my favorites in her line are the Westman Atelier Sticks. Also, Gucci created another Westman Atelier Lip Suede Palette, Les Rouges, including fuchsia, deep brick red. tomato red, and a warm dusty rose shades. The Packaging For The Westman Atelier Les Nudes Lip Suede Palette
To begin with, the Lip Suede Shiny Outer Box a cafe cream shade, is also the color of one of the nude shades in the palette. 
Furthermore, the compact comes in a light pink linen-like dust bag, with gold writing (Westman Atelier) on it. 
Next, the circular compact is a weighty, metal case. And, the lacquered compact is in the cafe cream shade.
Inside, there is a mirror underneath the lid. Additionally, the mirror,has a thick gold border. On the opposite side of the palette, is the circular blush pan. Also, the blush pan has a thick gold border.
What I Don’t Like About The Westman Atelier Les Nudes Lip Suede Palette
The four shades are in horizontal lines going from the top of the circle to the bottom of the circle. My biggest complaint is, the location of the shades in the palette. First, the palette has two darker pigmented shades. And, one is at the top of the circle. The other is at the bottom of the circle. The lighter shades are the two lines in the center of the palette.
The darker shades are smaller, due to their location in the circle. The two lightest shades are larger. This means, the darker, more pigmented shades have less the amount of product than the two lightest shades in the middle. My guess is, we would tend to wear the darker shades, on top and bottom, more than the two middle shades. My question is, so why are the lipsticks with more product in the middle, and the more wearable lipsticks are on the top and bottom?
Two Positive Things About The Westman Atelier Les Nudes Lip Suede Palette
One thing I like about the palette is it has a strong magnetic closure. Therefore, you really did to pull up on the lid to open the palette. Then, all you need to do to close the palette is lightly push the lid down, and let the magnet do the rest.
On a positive note, the compact is Gucci’s first refillable compact. So, hold on to it! Sustainable refill cartridges will become available in late fall 2021.

Peony, a cool shade, is a soft nude shade that makes your lips look fuller.
Last, Mulled Wine, a warm. refined, deeper version of a natural lip tone.
The Westman Atelier Lip Brush for The Les Nudes Lip Suede Palette
One tool you might want to get, The Westman Atelier Lip Brush, is an essential tool that is the perfect match to the Lip Suede Palettes. One reason is, using your fingers may be difficult to pick up the colors in the palette. On the other hand, the lip brush has a subtle, wider brush head that can is designed to pick up the right amount of pigment. 
Also, on application, the brush creates a seamless curve on your lips. Therefore, the color glides easily onto your lips.
Also, the brush has a substantial handle for maximum control. Last, the lip brush is made with cruelty free, super soft nylon fibers.
My Final Thoughts On The Westman Atelier Les Nudes Lip Suede Palette…..
To begin with, when I first saw the palette, it looks so gorgeous, I wanted to have it. Although, it was sold out! Finally, when I received the palette I was excited to try it out. I love the two deeper shades, Warm Rose, and Mulled Wine. Both of these shades look great worn alone. However, we have to remember that Gucci Westman is a makeup artist first, and foremost. Therefore, the makeup she creates is the makeup she herself would use, on herself and her clients. Therefore, these four shades are meant to be mixed together.
Also, you can wear the deeper shades all over your lips, and use the lighter shades to pop the centers of your lips. Or wear a lighter shade over a darker shade. You are your own makeup artist.
Is The Westman Atelier Les Nudes Lip Suede Palette Worth It?
Is the palette worth $85? If you get a lot of use out of it, then it is worth it. However, don’t waste your money if you are going to throw it in a drawer. Instead, get the lip brush that is designed to go with the palette. It is a big help. One thing it does well, it grabs the right amount of pigment you need for your lips. Also, it does help the pigments glide onto your lips. Finally, the more I use this palette, the more I like it. Also, a word about the suede texture of the shades. The texture feels cushiony and hydrating. These shades are matte, but they have so many skincare loving ingredients in them, they won’t dry your lips. out. Also, the lipstick is more long-lasting than you would think.
