There are days when I don’t feel like putting on a stitch of makeup. Naturally, at the end of a no-makeup day, my husband calls and says he’s taking me out for dinner. So, I throw on some blush, and a black eye liner. Sometimes, I’ll even skip the mascara. However, the one thing I never skip is lipstick. The reason for this is because lipstick finishes your look, regardless of what your look is. Usually, I love wearing a strong lipstick shade, one that will make a statement. However, a no makeup – makeup that you create in a rush requires a sexy, just-kissed, blurred -edges finish. In other words, the just bitten lipstick lip is the perfect look when you’re in a rush. The New Urban Decay Lo-Fi Lip Mousse can carry off both looks.
Above all, you can make the color as light or as deep as you want it! Furthermore, the UD Lo-Fi Mousse comes in eight shades. You can find it at Sephora, Ulta, and on the Urban Decay Website. The Lo-Fi Lip Mousse retails for $22.
Urban Decay Lo-Fi Lip Mousse Packaging
There are three notable features of the Lo-Fi Mousse Packaging. First, the lip mousse comes in a pot.

This pot is the same type of pot that bouncy mousse eye shadows are in.

It reminds me of the pot that houses the Colorpop eye shadow collection. Second, there is a mirror inside.

Third, when you open the pot, the applicator, automatically pops out!

Furthermore, the lip applicator is the same type of applicator you’d use for a mousse eye shadow. Finally, the pot will fit in the smallest handbag. Hence, it is the perfect for travel!

Urban Decay Lo-Fi Lip Mousse Formula

To begin with, the formula is weightless, buildable, and water proof. Also. the formula includes a lot of pigment. As a result, the lip mousse is high impact color with a velvet soft finish. In fact, it feels almost like suede. Moreover, the whipped formula feels soft and airy. When I touch it, it has a bounce to it. Furthermore, it feels powdery when you apply it to your lips. For instance, it seems to be more lip stain than lipstick. However, you can layer it to make the color deeper if you want. Although, even deep, the color isn’t too crazy.
Urban Decay Lo-Fi Lip Mousse Shades

There are eight shades in the collection. I purchased three, Amplify, Noise and Echo. The other five shades are Halo, Fade, Wavelength, Boom and Frequency. All of the shades have a matte finish. Halo is a warm baby pink shade. Fade, is a warm, medium nude shade. Wavelength is a medium pink-purple shade. Boom is a plum-purple shade that has red micro-shimmer. Frequency is a bright shade of orange.
Amplify

Amplify , a deep red color, has a matte finish.
Echo

Echo is a mauve, nude- pink shade.
Noise

Noise is a berry pink.

Urban Decay Lo-Fi Lip Mouse Last But Not Least…..

The closest I’ve come to feeling something like Lo-Fi Lip Mousse is Christian Dior’s Diorshow Fusion Eye Shadow mattes. Also, Ciate’s Glow To Illuminating Blush feels similar. The lip mousse feels like a powder when it touches your lips. However, it doesn’t dry down like a powder. It never gets cakey or flaky. I love that it is not messy to apply, especially if you use your finer. However, you can get more precise definition if you use the applicator that comes with it.

Also, I love that once applied, you don’t feel the lip mousse! In fact, it feels like nothing at all. If you use your finger to apply the mousse, pat it on. Remember, the formula can be layered to get a more dramatic, more opaque lip. But, the best way to wear it is to tap it on the middle of your lips, and then blend it outwards. As a result you will get that just bitten stained look. For really dramatic lips, stick with a matte lipstick! Let me know what you think of the UD Lo-Fi Lip Mousse in the comments below!
