Also the Holiday Collection includes the Ambient Lighting Blush Palette in Ghost. Two more products create the Holiday 2019 Ghost Collection. First is the Hourglass Confession Refillable Lipstick Duo. Moreover, it features one ultra thin lipstick, and one refill. Also, both, the thin lipstick and the refill, come in brand new shades. Additionally, the collection includes The Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadows Holiday Trio. Two of the three shades, Ray, and Foil are repromotes. The third shade, Molten, is brand new. And, oh boy is it gorgeous!

Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadows and Confession Refillable Lipstick Duo Packaging
Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadows
First, the trio of Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadows come stacked in a rectangular, matte silver box. Furthermore, the Glitter Eyeshadows come packed in a clear jar with a shiny silver lid. Also, the lid has a black design on it. First, I love the clear jar because you can see the color of the shadow that is inside.
In addition, you unscrew the mirrored lid. Inside, there is a clear disc on top of the shadows. One thing you use the disc to keep the glitter shadow “together”. In this way, you always replace the disc before you put the lid back on the jar. Also,when you press the disc down,onto the glitter, you are pushing down to compact the eyeshadow. Last, the disc serves as protection for the eyeshadow. Another reason you need the disc is to keep the glitters packed down.
Confession Refillable Lipstick Duo
LIPSTICK DUO
To begin with, Hourglass switched out the gold applicator for a silver applicator. The reason, Hourglass wanted their Limited Edition Holiday items to stand out. Moreover, Hourglass Holiday packaging includes some translucent plastic. The reason for this is not that Hourglass was looking to save money! Remember, this is called the Ghost collection. Therefore, Hourglass mixed translucent plastic in with the silver metal to make the packaging look more “ghostly!” First, The Confession lipstick’s applicator is ultra-thin. Moreover, the applicator comes in two halves.
To begin with, the bottom half of the tube is the shiny silver metal. Also, the slim applicator narrows and becomes a point. Next, the top half of the tube is removable. And, the lipstick refill comes in a metal tube with a translucent plastic lid. Also, on the bottom of the refill, is transparent plastic. Furthermore, the plastic snaps into the bottom half of the tube. In this way, you can use a different shade, or the same shade, and replace the lipstick. You can also use this applicator with all of the Confession Refillable Lipsticks.
How to Change the Confession Refillable Lipstick with a Refill
First, twist the lipstick to reveal the bullet. Next, apply the lipstick. Then, retract the lipstick down. Then, recap the lipstick.
To Refill, hold the pointed end of the lower half of the applicator. Next, remove the cap and pull the lipstick barrel out.
Then, remove the cap off the refill shade.
Next, firmly pull the lipstick barrel out of the cylindrical base. And, reconnect the refill cap and base with the remaining lipstick.
Hold the pointed end of the applicator, and insert the new refill shade into the opening until it clicks into place.
Also important, secure the applicator cap after each use.

Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadows
Let’s start with the fact that the unique hybrid/cream formula gives you reflective and buildable dimension. Furthermore, the glitter eyeshadow formula is weightless. In addition, light-reflecting pearls are in the formula. The light reflecting pearls give your eyes a sparkling shimmer. One thing I love about the formula is the light, and creamy texture is dense. As a result, it adheres, perfectly, to the bare eye lid. So, you don’t need a shadow primer. Also, there is minimal fallout. Moreover, the shadows are easy to work with. Another reason these shadows are amazing is when they catch the light. All I can say is, there is nothing more beautiful!
Confession Refillable Lipstick Duo
First, the formula for the Confession Lipstick is creamy. Also the saturated pigments are longwearing. Also, the lipstick coats your lips with a satin finish.

To start with, the Ghost Holiday Collection’s Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadows come in three shades.
Molten
First, the only new shade in the trio, is Molten. Molten , a plum-violet shade with micro-glitter, has a pearly sheen finish. First, use a matte eyeshadow in your crease. Or, you can also use a soft eye pencil blended into the crease a la Pat McGrath. Then, using your fingers, tap and pat the Molten shadow all over your eyelids. Then, using a pointed liner brush, line your lower lash lines with the plum- violet shade. All you need now is mascara! This is not only a gorgeous, smooth look, it is also super easy to do. Also, Molten is a buildable formula. In fact, the product description claims that these shadows are , once applied, supposed to be sheer. For this reason, the shadows are supposed to be buildable. Therefore , you can layer, and build the shadow for a more intense look. Molten fits this description perfectly.
Ray
The other two shades are Ray and Foil. First, Ray, a deep champagne shade, has a sparkling metallic finish. First, I would still use a matte eyeshadow in the crease of your eye. the reason you are doing this is to create definition. Then, these glitters look amazing all over the eyelids. Also, I like to use them on my lower lash lines. Ray is more opaque than Molten. Therefore, it doesn’t go on sheer. As a result, Ray is not as buildable as Molten.
Foil
Foil, a bright gold shade, has a sparkling, metallic finish. Again, I would use a matte eyeshadow in my crease. Then, I would put Foil all over my eyelids, and I’d bring it to the outer corners of my eyes. Last, I would line my lower lash lines with Foil. Wow! A gold metallic eye! How Gorgeous!
Confession Refillable Lipstick Duo
The Confession Refillable Lipstick Duo comes with a lipstick and a refill. Both shades are brand new. Moreover, there are two different colors to choose. First, is I Cherish, a cool pink nude shade, has a satin finish. And, You Inspire, a deep mulberry shade, with a satin finish.
The other choice is I Wonder, a bright rose shade, with a satin finish. And, I’ll Forever, an orange-red shade with a satin finish. However, I did not purchase this choice.

We Need Good Lighting
I’ve always love the way Hourglass plays with lighting. I realized how important it is to have the right lighting when I started doing you tubes. You know we all have says when we don’t feel so great. Then, we don’t think we look so great. Maybe we are tired. Maybe we look wrinkly. Or we can look a bit green when we feel sick. Also, I know how bad I look when I have the worst, throbbing headache. So, plain old makeup just doesn’t work on days like these. This is when you need our own personal lighting technician following us around. Unfortunately, we are not making a movie. Even movie stars, when they aren’t making movies, don’t look so great all the time. So, Hourglass is well-known for their Ambient Lighting Edits, their blush, and highlighters.
