Did you know that cake mascara has been around for about 100 years? First, if you’ve never experienced a cake mascara, it looks like a tiny black cake. All you need to do is add a drop or two of water. Then, rub the cake into a paste. Even more, you apply it with a brush, not a wand. One of the best qualities of cake mascara are the ingredients. First, all the ingredients are clean. Second, the ingredients are cruelty free. Last, cake mascara is long-lasting! Roen Cosmetics New Cake Mascara is the brands first ever mascara. However, it doesn’t look like a cake mascara. Instead,, it comes in a tube. And, you apply it with a wand. Also, you don’t need to add water!

Packaging For The Roen Cosmetics New Cake Mascara
Let’s start with the mascara tube. First, it is a sleek, mirrored tube. Also, it is a dark silver shade with white writing. Although, one thing that makes this mascara great is the brush. First, the fluffy brush has flexible, densely packed bristles. And, the shape of the brush is it is thicker on the bottom, and it tapers off at the top. Then, at the top the brush comes to a pointed tip. Even more, the smaller tip at the top is perfect for getting all those tiny lashes, and the bottom lashes!
Also important, the packaging is recyclable.
The Roen Cosmetics New Cake Mascara Formula
INGREDIENTS
First, the top ingredients in the New Cake Mascara are waxes. Instead of using beeswax, a common wax ingredient in most mascaras, Roen substitutes beeswax with three other waxes. The waxes in the Cake formula are sunflower, bayberry, and carnauba wax. One thing waxes do is take hold of the lashes. Also, it makes the formula more flexible.
Even more, the formula is infused with olive oil. The reason for olive oil is it helps keep the lashes hydrated. Also, olive oil hydrates the lashes.
Finally, the formula includes silica. For one thing, silica, lengthening polymers, help create silky, soft, and fluffy lashes. Also included, Nylon 12 is included, to create high impact lashes that are clump free.
Last, the formula is easy to build. And, it lasts a long time.
My Final Thoughts On The Roen New Cake Mascara……..
I love that the formula is clean. Even more, I love the dark black formula. I noticed that the formula was drier than some mascaras. In fact, that is another characteristic of the original cake mascaras. In other words, the formula in the original cake mascaras was more paste, and less liquid. I used to only wear cake mascara in the 90’s! Chanel used to make a great one! All I did was add a drop or two of water. Then, I mixed the water into the cake with the brush. In those days, the brush looked more like a toothbrush than a mascara wand. The result was a lash that looked like false lashes. But, that was the 90’s.
Today, in Pandemic World, we aren’t getting dressed up because there is nowhere to go! So, the Roen Cosmetics New Cake Mascara is perfect for our lifestyle right now. My lashes are dark, and silky. They look like my lashes only better! And, that, my friends, is the perfect lash for the end of 2020! Otherwise, it would make an excellent everyday mascara. Above all, your lashes will look gorgeous. And, they won’t look clumpy! And, I didn’t have any flaking black spots under my eyes, or on my eyelids.
