Rituel De Fille Color Nectar Pigment

If you love easy , clean makeup that has multi-uses, meaning it can be applied on your eyes , cheeks and lips you should try the Rituel De Fille Color Nectar Pigment Balm. According to the brand, their inspiration for this product was “the sweet flowers in bloom, the wild lure of pollinators, glistening honey, and the hum of the hive.” The Color Nectar Pigment has been around since the Covid Pandemic.  Although, not too many of us were interested in makeup during those years. The brand, which was once only available on the actual Rituel de Fille Website, can now be found in a multitude of websites and stores.

The Rituel De Fille Color Nectar Pigment Balm can be found at Ulta, Saks Fifth Avenue, Free People, Credo and the Rituel De Fille Website.  The Color Nectar Pigment Balm 0.11 oz./ 3.2g) costs $26.

Three of the Color Nectar Pigment Balms come in a recyclable cardboard outer box.  One of the Pigment Balms comes in the outer black plastic bag.

The bag has a seal that will come apart to open, and to close you can press it to close.

I can’t figure it out, but I am guessing that the outer plastic bag is not as recyclable as a cardboard box.  I am trying to find out if these bags are going to be discontinued. Anywho, Inside, the small, shiny, black circular compact fits into the palm of your hand.  Therefore it is travel worthy to the point it could fit in your jeans pocket!  Also, it has the star dusted design on the lid.  The compact has a snap closure, and inside it has a mirror underneath the lid. The products in the box are marked that the plastic compact is made from 50% PCR (post consumer plastic.). What is confusing to me is the plastic compact in the bag is made from 65% PCR Post Consumer Plastic). How can that be?  The compacts are all the same, so which is it?

The formula, and all the Rituel de Fille formulas, is a clean formula.  The formula is a sheer tint, that has a visible vibrancy.  In other words, it is extremely sheer, but still bright!   The moisturizing formula  is easy to blend, easy to apply, and has a “dewy” finish that is more natural and not too dewy.  The Translucent formula has a jelly-like texture.  Also, the balm has a light scent of natural lavender with. the warmth of honey beeswax. Other ingredients in the formula include Castor Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Lavender and Beeswax.

There are no synthetic dyes  or synthetic fragrances in the formula.  Also, the formula is without plastic-based glitters, parabens, phthalates, PEG’S, Polyethylene glycol, mineral oil and talc.

There are five Color Nectar Pigment Balm shades.  I purchased four of them.   The shades I purchased are Snapdragon, Bee Sting, Blood Flower and Glasswing. The fifth shade, Wasp, is a passionfruit yellow shade, which is not for me.

Snapdragon

Snapdragon, a juicy kumquat shade, also described as a translucent bright orange shade, has a dewy finish.

Bee Sting

Bee sting is a freshly pinched rose shade, with a dewy finish.

Blood Flower

Bloodflower is a cherry red glaze shade with a dewy finish.

Glasswing

Glasswing, a plum jelly shade, has a dewy finish.

You can wear all of the shades on your eyes, your cheeks, and your lips.  Or, if you wish to, anywhere else on your face. You can apply the shades with your fingers, sponges, or brushes.  They key to getting the most vibrancy is to tap on the balm, and you can get more color payoff by tapping, and layering the product.  However, if you prefer a sheerer tint, with a hint of visible vibrancy, swipe the formula with your brush, sponge, or finger, to take the vibrancy down a few notches.  Remember, it is a balm, and balms are not 12 hour wear products.

The good news is, the packaging is so travel-worthy, and the compact has a mirror, so you can touch up when you need to.  Finally, these Color Nectar Pigment Balms are perfect for the spring and summer months.  The shades are vibrant, fast and easy to  apply, and the formula is perfect for an easy, breezy summer look!
