To begin with, you really do need concealer. The reason is, concealer can do that other makeup can’t. For one thing, concealers are good for a lot of reasons. Above all, concealer is a must in your makeup arsenal. First,, concealer color – corrects the area underneath your eyes. Another reason , it covers blemishes, and other imperfections. Even more, concealer is the only product that can give you a flawless, bright, lifted look. Other makeup can’t do this! Even more concealer can double as a highlighter. Pat McGrath Labs released their newest Skin Fetish: The Sublime Perfection Concealer System. The system includes three products. First, is theSublime Perfection Concealer. Each of the boxes has 3 of the signature PML gold hieroglyphics.
THE SUBLIME PERFECTION CONCEALER COLLECTION CONCEALER GLASS TUBE AND APPLICATOR
The concealer tube glass. Therefore, the tube is weighty. And, it feels cold. Most concealers aren’t as weighty. The reason is most concealer tubes are plastic. However, the black concealer lid is plastic. It screws on, and off. Also, the lid doubles as a flocked, doe-footed applicator. Last, the concealer brush’s bristles are angled. It is an excellent brush to apply both the liquid concealer, and the setting powder. The bristles are soft, and dense. I love the brush because it gets into all your nooks and crannies.
THE BLURRING -SETTING POWDER CASE
Although, the powder comes in the PML Lab Packaging that looks like it just came out of the lab. Inside, is a plastic black compact.
THE BACK OF THE BLURRING AND SETTING POWDER COMPACT
Pat McGrath is written on the front of the compact’s domed lid. To open, you need to lift the lid up. To close, you push the lid down until you hear a click. One the top lid, is a small, round mirror. Opposite the lid, is the setting powder.
PML Sublime Perfection Concealer System Formulas
Sublime Perfection Concealer Formula
THE SUBLIME PERFECTION CONCEALER INGREDIENTS
To start, the Sublime Perfection Concealer has three highlighted ingredients. First, the formula included vita-serum complex, that works to moisturize under your eyes. In this way, it fights the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Next, the formula also has Flex Form Matrix, that provides smoothness for your skin. Last, Optically Diffusing Pigments provide a soft-focus effect. Also, it blurs skin imperfections. And, it gives the concealer its silky fee.
A tiny little bit goes a long way. Therefore, if you use too much concealer, you will have under eye creasing. A tiny bit of concealer will stay in place. it won’t settle in your fine lines. Even more, it won’t cake.

Moreover, the formula is easy to apply and easy to blend. Also, it feels super creamy. Last, the concealer stays put all day.
First of all, the formula is pressed powder. In addition, the powder is infused with mica. As a result, the powder adds radiance to the under eye area. Moreover, the Propriety Powder Blend gives you the feeling that it is barely there. The powder glides on easily. Above all, the powder creates a lightweight veil of protection. Even more, the formula feels lighter than air. Another thing , the formula blurs imperfections and fine lines for an all-day wear. I love that you get a smooth airbrushed look without feeling dry.
Sublime Perfection Concealer Brush
One, the patent-pending TRX Fiber Technology create bristles that deliver superior pickup and easy blend ability. Even more, the angled bristles are a unique shape. As a result, the brush does an excellent job laying down concealer, and the concealer setting powder. Also, the shorter handle gives you excellent control of the brush. I love that the brush fits perfectly in hard to reach areas. Another reason this brush is a must-have, is the bristles are dense, yet they feel soft on your face.
The Sublime Perfection Blurring Under-Eye Setting Powder and The Sublime Concealer Shades
First, the Under Eye Setting Powder comes in three shades.
THE BACK OF THE BLURRING AND SETTING POWDER COMPACT
The shades are Light, Medium and Deep. I purchased the Setting Powder in the Medium Shade. It works perfectly with my Concealer Shade, M17. I love that the powder blurs the fine lines under your eyes. Also, it helps give the concealer an air-brushed finish.
Second, the Concealer comes in 36 shades. Additionally, the undertones run the gambit. My shade is easy. I am medium, and have neutral undertones.
CONCEALER SWATCH M 17 ON LEFT, BLURRING AND SETTING POWDER SWATCH MEDIUM ON RIGHT
As a result, my shade is M17. Other undertones include, yellow, peach, pink, pink-neutral, yellow neutral, red neutral, olive neutral, etc.
SWATCH M17 WITH MEDIUM SETTING POWDER ON TOP SWATCHES
The shades start with the lightest of the light shades. And, the shades conclude with the deepest of the deep. All 36 shades have a natural finish.
The Sublime Perfection Concealer System – My Final Thoughts…….
I loved the whole Sublime Perfection Concealer System. First, the concealer felt hydrating under my eyes, and my eyes are dry! Also, it gave me great coverage. I loved the Concealer Brush. It did a great job blending the products. And, one thing I normally don’t use, I decided I need to use from now on. It is setting powder. I can be really lazy by the time I get to the setting powder. Also, I always felt that setting powder went into my lines, and made creases under my eyes. Not the case at all!
M17 CONCEALER WITH SETTING POWDER MEDIUM SWATCH
Instead, this powder gave my under eyes a soft focus look. Last, the powder blurred my imperfections. Instead of feeling like powder, the setting powder has a silky feel. The under eye lines went away!
Best part? I looked like I was airbrushed. My under eyes looked smooth. Above all, I didn’t feel dry under my eyes.
PS
Let me know if you use a setting powder to set your concealer. Have you tried the new one from Pat McGrath! I recommend the whole system. I think you need the brush, and the setting powder to have the perfect under eye look. Please leave comments in the comment box below. Also, don’t be shy, just stop by to say hi.
