Another new arrival at Sephora this week is the Nars’ limited edition Narsissist Dual-Intensity Blush Palette ($59). It made me swoon when I saw it! It is so chic and absolutely gorgeous! It is an all in one cheek palette that boasts four beautiful new shades. The palette includes one highlighter, one blush for certain, and two blush/contour colors.
The packaging is exciting. It is a shiny, reflective mirrored box.
The Palette is also a shiny, mirrored reflective compact. Inside the palette is a full-sized mirror, which is nice to have, although the compact is also mirrored and you don’t have to open the palette to check on your blush! The packaging is modern and very cool-looking. It is almost more reflective than my pyrite egg!
The new shades in the palette are in separate pans. The shades are (from left to right) :
Shade I – Soft Tulle is a pale silver-with a cool iridescent shimmer
Shade II – Damask with Gold Sheen is a pink-coral frost
Shade III – Peony is fuchsia with a frosted sheen
Shade IV – Dark Titan is a Rosy Brown with warm undertones and a frosted sheen
What I love about the Nars Narsissist Dual-Intensity Blush Palette is…… the colors are really spectacular. I love, love, love them! I love that the palette is an all in one palette that contains a highlighter, bush and contour colors. And I love the dual-intensity formula, which is nothing new to Nars. When applied dry, your look is natural and glowing. The more water you use, the more pigmented the colors become. The more water, the more saturated the colors become. Applied dry, your color will be sheer to medium with a frosted-shimmery finish. Applied damp, the color will become more opaque, richer and more pigmented with a smooth sheen. Either way, it’s Nars, what’s not to love?
