A few days ago, Pinky and I went to Sephora and brought home a huge Sephora Haul. Our haul includes new Spring Products. However, I watched a recent Wayne Goss You Tube, titled the best foundation. Clearly, Pinky and I wanted to try out this foundation. After all, when Wayne says it’s the best, then it’s the best. Therefore, the foundation was at the top of our list. So, we arrived at Sephora intenting to purchase the New Estee Lauder Double Foundation. We told Meredith, our Sephora makeup artist extraordinaire, that we needed Wayne Goss’ Holy Grail, Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. Instead, Meredith took us to see the New Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation.
Meredith said she loves the New Nars Longwear foundation because it has a lightweight creamy texture. Also, she feels that the foundation looks very natural on the skin. Furthermore, Meredith said that the formula doesn’t make your skin feel or look dry. Most of all, Meredith felt that the Nars foundation would make our skin smooth, dewy and radiant. Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation Packaging

The Natural Radiant Foundation is packaged in a slim glass bottle.

The foundation is dispensed with a pump. Hence, each pump administers a small amount of foundation. For example, two or three pumps will cover my face and my neck.

I prefer using a pump dispenser instead of pouring the foundation from a bottle because it is much easier to control the amount of foundation you need. Because, when pouring foundation from a bottle, onto a brush or a sponge, too much product flows out of the bottle. Then, either you put too much foundation on your face, or you waste the excess foundation.
Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation Formula
Another First for Nars , the Natural radiant, Longwear formula is their first 16 hour long-wear foundation. The formula’s texture is lightweight and breathable. Most important, after applying the foundation, it looks just like your own skin.

The formula is infused with the Nars Skin Optimizing Complex. The Complex is a blend of raspberry, apple and watermelon extract. Specifically, it helps support the skin’s elastic fibers. Particularly, it smooths fibers over time and helps to smooth and improve the texture of the skin which optimizes radiance.
Moreover, a unique combination of a translucent containing mircronized amino acid coats pigments. In addition, mineral-tone-balancing powders mimic the skin’s tone. As a result, the powders fuse with your skin to create the closest color match.
Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation Shades
There are thirty three shades in the Radiant Longwear Foundation Collection.
Each of the shades has a radiant finish.
Therefore, you will be able to find a shade that matches your skin tone, and undertones. Clearly, with 33 choices, there is a shade for everyone. Meredith was spot on when she chose the Sachel shade for me. Later, I checked the Sephora Color IQ Skintone Match. I told you Meredith was extraordinaire! The IQ Skintone match also chose medium 2.5 Sachel.

A medium shade, Sachel has golden peachy undertones.

In fact, Sachel matches my skin tone better than all of my other foundations!
Sum
“Makeup Shouldn’t Cover Your Skin. It should enhance your natural beauty, not mask it.” Francois Nars.
I love that the foundation applies uniformly, without streaking. I applied my foundation with my Wayne Goss #13 brush, a face brush that optimizes the application and finish of all foundations.
The formula blends easily and makes the skin appear smooth. In addition, the foundation felt weightless. Moreover, it lasted all day! Most of all, I love the Radiant Longwear Foundation’s dewy radiant, satiny finish!
