I been not been thrilled with my subscription boxes lately. I wanted to try something new, and I decided on the quarterly box @Beautycon ($29 initial fee and recurring seasonal subscription fee, plus $6.99 for shipping and handling). Beautycon is the “Superbowl” for all things beauty and lifestyle for those (like me) who are obsessed with cosmetics and lifestyle. It is about more than just makeup. It is a mentality, a tool, for self expression. The Beautycon philosophy is not at all about concealing, it is about revealing the best in all of us!
And, they have a quarterly subscription box, one for each season, where you will get over $100 plus in beauty and lifestyle products that are designed to keep us “on point” with our beauty products all year. My first box appeared last week. The box was made of heavy white cardboard, and it had a grid design where the lines were drawn in black. It was much larger than my Birchbox subscription box, and it had a Beautycon Box Logo wrapped around it, in a peachy-pink, with a floral design in red, and leaves of the flower in green.

The content of the box has all of these full-sized products in it, and one deluxe sample , a flower sticker, and a Spring Essentials card with the information of what products are included in this month’s box. I can tell you already, I was excited to see these beautiful, full-sized products, especially because it appeared to me all, but one, were either makeup or makeup related. And I love anything makeup or makeup related.
I couldn’t wait to see the Cargo Around The World Eye Shadow Palette.
The Cargo Around the World Eye Shadow Palette has a magnetic closure. It includes a double-ended brush, a blender brush is on one end, and a liner is on the other. It includes six matte shades and six shimmer shades. It is a beautiful neutral palette.
The palette is arranged in three quads, and six duos. These quads, and duos were designed so that the shades color coordinated, for a variety of looks. It is like having three eyeshadow quad Palettes, and six duo palettes!

The Brow Gal Convertible Brow : Powder to Pomade Duo is a universal palette that was made for beautycon. Also included is The Brow Gal Brow Brush with a spoolie on one side, and an angled brush on the other.
The powders can be used dry, or wet – which creates a pomade for your brows. The brush was easy to use, and the powders filled the brows in impeccably. Some brow products are difficult to use, this set was easy to use, The brush/ spoolie is a great tool to use with the powder/pomade because it help make the application easy.
The IBY Beauty mineral pressed blush in Peach Sheen is a peachy pink shade with a golden shimmer. Peach is all over the place for Spring, and it is a gorgeous shade. You can apply it with the included Luxie #516 Duo Fiber Powder Brush. It is a super soft, vegan brush designed to blend out powders.

Dirty Little Secret Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in Rust is richly pigmented and long lasting. For a liquid matte it is pretty comfortable.
I love the shade Rust. It is a brick orange/red. It is very opaque and it is a one swipe application. (It values for $14).
The NYX Illuminating stick in Rose Petal is gorgeous. It is pigmented, creamy and easy to blend. It gives you a dewy, illuminating Rose Petal shimmer. I would wear this in place of my bronzer to get a spring-look – a youthful , illuminating glow that looks amazing in the Spring. (It is Valued at $8).
The Nuxe Multi-Purpose Dry Oil is the one and only product in the Spring box that is not a full-sized item. It is, however, .330z and I would consider it to be a deluxe sample. It can be used on the face, the body and in the hair. It adds a subtle shimmery glow. It is a must have for the Spring and Summer. (It is valued at $7.50).
To take it all off, and wash your face, is Garnier Skin Active Micellar Makeup Removing Towelettes. I’ve been using Micellar Water in a pump bottle and a cotton swab to remove makeup. This is so easy and portable to use in Towelette form. To read more about Micellar water and how it cleanses the skin , (Click Here). The towelettes are multi-tasking, and perform three different tasks. First, they remove your makeup, then they cleanse your face, and they are soothing on your skin. (The value of the Towelette package is $6).
I’m not crazy about hair products generally. Especially in my subscription boxes. But, I saw this OGX Orchid Oil which is for color-treated hair to prevent fading,with UVA/UVB sun filters. I color treat my hair, and if I can keep it from fading so I can go longer between color visits, Count Me In! It is easy to use. Just spray it in your hair. It smells great. It is light weight, so it doesn’t weigh your hair down, and your hair looks shiny and feels soft. An unexpected win for me! (It values at $8).
I can honestly say I loved my first Beauty Con Box! I recommend it to anyone who loves different products, and wants to learn what products are trending, and current. I love that everything in the box was full size except the Nuxe dry oil, which was a nice deluxe sample. 
I loved the selection of makeup, they covered a lot of ground, for eyes, brows, cheeks, lips, makeup removal, and hair. I loved the two brushes that were included, one for powders, and one for eyes. For the $36 I spent for the box – the price of the box plus shipping, the value of the products in the Spring Box came to $148. Awesome!. And the products are great!
