Kat Von D Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick

Kat Von D has revamped her cult-favorite Studded Kiss Lipstick .  First, she updated her already successful fan- favorite formula.  In other words, Kat made further improvements to enhance the performance of the original lipstick. Next, Kat upgraded the shade range of the Studded Kiss Lipstick.  The result is 40 new shades of the New Kat Von D Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick!  Moreover, the updated formula comes in three finishes: satin matte, glimmer and metallic.  Most important, Kat Von D tested each of the shades for approval herself.  In this way, Kat made sure that each shade remained consistent, across the board.  To purchase the KVD Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick (click here,)  Their cost is $19 each.

Originally, Kat created her Studded Kiss Lipstick packaging using her favorite cuff bracelet as her inspiration.

Likewise, the New Kat Von D Studded Creme Lipstick features the ssame signature studds.  However, Kat updated the packaging with a new look.  To illustrate, Kat used monochromatic black to update the original packaging.

Except, the shade White Out is in a sleek white-hued tube and white packaging box.

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick Formula

In the first place, why would Kat want to upgrade her already successful Studded Kiss Lipstick formula?  Specifically, KVD is a perfectionist. Therefore, she is always seeking new ways to improve the performance of KVD Beauty products.  Since the 2014 development of the Studded Kiss Lipstick, new technological advances have occurred in the Beauty Industry.  Accordingly, Kat took advantage of these new advances in order to create an even better bullet formula for her original collection.  In fact, she wanted to amplify and improve the already long-wearing formula.  As a result, the new breakthrough formula, and new packaging re-invented the original Studded Kiss Lipstick.

The formula has a high-chroma content for pure, vivid color. In addition, the formula includes smooth spherical pigments and lip nourishing ingredients. Next, it has a revolutionary new base formula that is clear, super-soft, and weightless.

Therefore, lips are coated in creamy comfort, and color.  Aside from the intense pigment, full coverage, and all day wear, the formula has a smooth glide with no dragging.  Also, the new lipsticks have the delicious scent of creme brule!

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Creme Lipstick Shades

The New Studded Kiss Creme Lipsticks have the boldest range of shades.  There are 40 shades with three finishes.  First, the Metallic finish includes only one shade, namely Adora.  Adora is a metallic, golden red.  Next, the satin finish includes 35 shades. Last, there are 4 shades with a shimmer finish.  The shades are Gold Blooded, Cool Chocolate, Nayeon, and Poe.

The upgraded range of shades includes cult favorite hues, old iconic shades, and the new White Out to customize your lip creations.  In fact, some of the Technicolor hues that seem familiar were inspired by the KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick line.

I purchased my favorite shade in the original formula, Lolita, in the new formula.

I also purchased Cathedral and Mercy.  Last, I purchased White Out.

 

 White Out.

White Out is a pure white lip mixer.  First, you can use White Out as a priming base that will amplify other lip colors.  In addition, you can mix White Out with other colors to create custom shades.

Furthermore, you can use the White Out Shade to create a trending ombre lip.

Lolita

Lolita is a chestnut rose shade in a satin matte finish.

Cathedral

Cathedral is a coco rose shade in a satin matte finish.

Mercy

Mercy is a garnet berry shade in a metallic finish.

So far, I am loving the new, reborn KVD Studded Kiss Creme formula.  (And I was a big fan of the old formula!)  First, it feels super creamy, and like a cushion on my lips.  Also, it feels so weightless, I almost feel like I am wearing nothing at all!  And, I love the scent of creme brule.
