Isn’t it supposed to be all about the base? Well, once again Josie Maran doesn’t disappoint . The Josie Maran Vibrancy Argan Oil Foundation Fluid at Sephora ($45) leaves skin looking fresh, youthful and beautiful. And there are fourteen colors to choose from!
The packaging is vibrant and fun. The box is a hologram that has a splash of spring colored design which also transfers to the bottle. The bottle has a beautiful rose-gold pump for dispensing the fluid foundation.
There is a liquid consistency to the fluid , so I felt the best way for me to apply it would be my damp beauty blender sponge. When you use the beauty blender you don’t need as much of the product as you would if you were using your fingers. I think the foundation is too fluid to use a brush successfully without the fluid streaking. I found the coverage was medium, but easily build-able. What I loved most was the incredibly dewy finish my skin had. My skin looked vibrant, like it had come to life.
I have dry skin. This foundation is amazing for dry skin because it is powered with 100% argan oil. And anyone who knows me, or has read my blogs, knows I love argan oil and all the good benefits it has for the skin. It left my skin feeling hydrated, dewy, and supple with a baby smooth finish. Honestly, it looks stunning on my skin. I give this foundation an A+ !
If you have oily skin you must use a translucent (any translucent ) powder to set the product. And unfortunately as a result of the powder you will lose some luminosity. If you are just oily in your t-zone, you can powder just that area or anywhere else you are oily.
