Ilia is a luxury brand that is certified organic, non-toxic-green beauty that is cruelty free. It is the first organic beauty that is also a fashion conscious brand. I was visiting our local Blue Mercury Cosmetics Store when I came across the line in the store. They had just received it a few days before, and had their training session the previous day. I have seen it online, but I’ve never experienced it before. I was interested in trying the Multi Stick. I purchased a shade called A Fine Romance. It is a very berry beautiful shade that looks like radiant flush on my cheeks.
The packaging is sleek, and environmentally conscious, It is made from recycled aluminum. It is brushed silver, and the brand name is written in a charcoal grey.
What makes Ilia stand out from other organic brands is their combination of gorgeous pigments plus moisturizing ingredients. It is made with 100% natural dye. Each product is filled with 85% certified organic botanical ingredients. I asked the sales lady why beeswax isn’t considered organic. They said it came from bees,an animal, which took beeswax off of the organic list. Ilia is a stickler brand who keeps it as organic as possible, without messing with the integrity of the product. Products need things to hold them together, such as beeswax, and The multi stick combines organic ingredients with Vitamin E and Shea Butter. It also has Avocado Oil, and organic Cocoa which makes the formula creamy and buttery.
The ingredients in all of Ilia’s products also nourish and help to repair the skin. It helps to rejuvenate the deepest layers of the skin.

The multi stick is creamy , it goes on smoothly, it is easy and blends right into my skin. You can use a stippling brush to apply it, or do as I do, I just used my fingers. It lasted all day for me. I also love the portability of the stick. It doesn’t take up any room in my handbag. The good thing is, you don’t need a brush, you can swipe it on and smooth it out with your fingers, and swipe it on your lips. It is the perfect stick for”on the go application,” and one stick can give you a healthy glow to your cheeks, lips and even your eyes. The very berry shade is rich and warm and it compliments my olive skin tone. It gives me that pop of radiance I need to perk up my face. I love that the color goes on sheer and has a dewy finish, and it gives just the right amount of flush.
