How many Holiday 2018 releases have been nude palettes? If you answered too many, you’re right! Recently, I reviewed Bobbi Brown Nude Drama , Kevyn Aucoin Nude Pop, and The Becca Volcano Goddess Collection, to name a few. Therefore, it was about time for Huda Beauty to come out with their version of a nude eye shadow palette. As a result, The Huda Beauty New Nude Eye Shadow Palette was released a week ago. Undoubtedly the New Nude Eye Shadow palette IS the “must have” palette for the 2018 Holiday season. The reason is, we all were anxious to see Huda’s Nudes. Because, when Huda created New Nude, she isn’t kidding. Only, Huda didn’t use any old nudes. Huda reinvented nudes! To start with, some of her nude textures are revolutionary. Additionally, some of her nude shades are , should I say, new for nude.
On one hand, the palette is feminine and dainty. On the other hand, it is exciting. And, somewhere in between, the palette has both warm and cool shades. For instance, one of the formulas and some of the shadows are new. I’ve never thought that intense shimmer, glitter and saturated colors would be in a nude palette! Only Huda, Pat McGrath and Natasha Denona could pull that off!

Huda Beauty New Nude Packaging
To start with, the palette has a picture of Huda on the front.
Inside, there is a giant mirror on one side, and the eighteen shades are on the other side. Also, the plastic packaging material seems to be sturdier than her other palettes.
Huda Beauty New Nude Formula
First of all, there are ten Matte Eye Shadows. They feel velvety and smooth. The mattes have color-saturated pigments. The matte formula includes Aloe Vera and Coconut Oil. As a result , they are easy to blend, and easy to apply.
Next, there are two Glitters. The glitter, infused with Silicons, helps the pigments adhere to the skin. Also, the glitter disperses better. Also, the new glitter formula glides on like the pearl formula. Hence, they are reflective and bright.
Also, the palette has one Pressed Pearl Shadow. The formula mixes pressed pearls into a rose copper shade. The rose copper formula includes Acacia, Jojoba and Sunflower Wax. As a result, the shade has a creamy, high-shimmer finish.
Interestingly, Huda includes one creamy Concealer Base. The concealer creates a perfect canvas for the shadows. Furthermore, it helps boost the intensity of the shades. Even more, the concealer is perfect for cutting a crease.
Finally, the palette has four Reflective Shades. These shades have shimmering pearl flecks that create a duo-chromatic finish.
Huda Beauty New Nude Application
To begin with, use the concealer as a base on your eyelids. Also, you can apply the concealer on top of your matte shades to cut a crease. Also use the concealer to intensify your shades, and amplify your glitters.
Next, use a brush to apply and blend your matte shadows.
For the Multi-reflective shades, you can blend them into the matte shades for a subtle light-diffusing look. If you want an understated, pearlescent glow, apply them as a base, or on your bare lids.
You can apply the Pressed Pearl shade on top of the matte shades for a shimmery finish.
Last, use a flat brush to apply the glitters. Press the glitter onto your lids.
Huda Beauty New Nude Last But Not Least…..
Most of all, the Huda Beauty New Nude Eye Shadows are unique. Moreover, I consider these shades Nude Holiday Shades. After all, the holidays are a glittery, reflective, sparkling time of year. As a result, why not have a palette of nude shades that glitter, sparkle and reflect one another. So, the New Nude is the perfect nude palette for this time of year. More so, it is perfect for those of us who don’t want to wear a colorful palette. For example, if you go out for a holiday lunch, you do want to look festive. However, you don’t want to look like you just walked out of a disco, now, would you? Therefore, the New Nude Eye Shadows are perfect for the times when you want to go neutral, not bare! Also, when you want to look bright, not blah!
Furthermore, the palette is more colorful than you’d think a nude palette would be. First, this palette is Huda’s interpretation of a nude, not ours! I think of flesh shades when I think nude. The New Nude includes pinks, purples, and bronze shades. In addition, the palette is a mixture of cool and warm shades. Also, it introduces an amazing new formula. Huda reinvented the nude palette using revolutionary textures and color.
Above all, the palette will join two other favorites, Desert Rose, and Rose Gold, as part of Huda’s permanent collection.
