Also, the Hermes 01 Or Permabrass Face and Eyes Illuminating Powder costs $85 at Selfridges, and $95 at Saks. Unfortunately, Neimans and Nordstrom are sold out at this time.
Packaging
The orange box comes inside an outer box. That outer packaging is a recyclable box. There is a vertical slit , on the front of the outer box. 
This is where you can peak through to see the orange box. And, ladies, it’s all about THE orange box!

Inside THE orange box is the compact. Gifting an Hermes Highlighter, whether it is to yourself, your mom, or your bestie, is not just giving someone a highlighter.

I could have stopped right there! However, let’s go on, and open that orange box! Inside is a simple, sleek, white plastic compact.
The white compact has gold Hermes accents, and branding. Also, , the outer lid of the white compact includes the Hermes ex-libris emblem embossed in gold. Also, the emblem is about the size of a dime. 
Then, the rest of the compact is a brushed gold metal. 
PIerre Hardy designed the case, which is referred to as an “object.” Consider it an “object d’art!”
To open the compact, simply lift up the lid. Inside, underneath the lid, is a nice, large mirror. Then, on the other side from the mirror, is the pan that holds the highlighter. 
Finally, the highlighter has an intricate, embossed design that is gorgeous. It is the Hermes regal crest, ex-libris. Last, the case has a magnetic closure.
The Formula
“A precious powder, embossed with the ex-libris, is compressed to give a distinctive chiselled, engraved and polished appearance. It is inspired by the goldsmiths’ know-how. It’s fine, melting texture with metallic reflectors leaves a veil of light on the skin. Its core formula of transparency features a high concentration of golden mother-of-pearl.” It doesn’t perform like a powder. In fact, the highlight is more like a cream highlighter, without it being oily. Also, the highlighter seamlessly applies to your skin. And, the highlight melts into your skin. It doesn’t lay on top of the skin. As a result, the color of the highlight looks natural, like it is a part of your skin. This highlighter is so fine, so beautiful, and it makes your skin look polished and elegant. I really love this highlighter for that reason. NO it isn’t a strobe. NO Glitter, NO metallics. It is a soft-focus highlighter. It does give you a gorgeous glow. You can build it up for more brilliant impact.
The Or Permabrass Shade 01 and Application

The Face and Eyes Illuminating Powder comes in the shade Or Permabrass. Permabrass is one of the shades you can choose for your Hermes Handbag. Most of the bags come in Gold Hardware. Although, Palladium is another choice. Palladium is a white-silver shade. If you wear a lot of gold, you would choose the Gold hardware. OR, if you are a silver girl, you would go with the Palladium. But, if you sometimes wear gold, and other times wear silver, you would choose Permabrass hardware.
Permabrass is a champagne shade in between gold and silver. However, the name of the shade is Or Permabrass. OR in French means gold. So the shade of Or Permabrass is a light golden champagne shade.
Application
Apply the highlighter on the high points of your face. Therefore, apply the illuminating powder on your cheekbones, down the center of your nose, on your Cupid’s bow and on your brow bones. Also, you can wear this on your decolletage, and on the inner corners of your eyes. I would even wear it on my eyelids.
A soft highlighter brush will not pick up a lot of powder. Therefore, you will get a beautiful glow. IF you want more impact, then switch to a denser, synthetic brush, which will pick up more powder. Also, you can build the highlight. More, you could use your finger to apply the power in the corners of your eyes, brow bone, etc. Don’t expect a Pat McGrath Strobe! This highlighter is not for that. 
Instead, it will give you a fine, beautiful, polished look. The color will look natural, like it is part of your skin. This is a more sophisticated, elegant look. This is Hermes.
