I am in love with the infamous makeup artist, Gucci Westman’s makeup. Mostly, Gucci Westman has concentrated on face makeup. Therefore, she has created two gorgeous creamy highlighters that come in a compact. However, her face sticks are the “foundation” of her line. Her Atelier Sticks include foundation, highlighter, contour, and blush. Still, her makeup line has yet to do eye shadows and lipstick. Now, however, Westman Atelier has released the brand’s very first lipstick. Or, I should say, her first lipsticks. Four lipstick shades fill up the new Gucci Westman Lip Suede Compact.
You can find the new Gucci Westman Lip sued Compact at Violet Grey, Bergdorf Goodman, Net a Porter, Goop, and on the Westman Atelier Website. And, the Lip Suede Compact costs $85.
Gucci Westman Lip Suede Compact Packaging
To begin with, the four lip shades come in a lacquered, tomato-red round compact. One thing is, I had trouble opening the compact. 
The reason for the trouble is, there is no mechanism to stick your fingers into, that will help open the compact. Instead, I had to stick my fingernail into the small space between the top, and bottom halves of the compact. I’m glad that my nails are strong! Furthermore, the compact is teeny tiny.
Although, what’s inside the palette is mightsome. On one side there are four ribbons of shades of lipstick.
On the other side, there is the most adorable circular mirror. It is a tiny mirror. Yet, it is enough for you to apply your lipstick with.
Gucci Westman Lip Suede Compact Formula
First of all, this is a luxurious lip palette. The four vibrant shades are infused with long-lasting pigments. Even more, the pigments are formulated to moisturize your lips. Also, the formula includes ingredients that are infused with regenerating abilities. Moreover, cold-pressed cherry oil give the formula high levels of antioxidants Vitamins A and E. Next, Marula Oil protects your lips with Vitamin C and oleic acid. To explain, oleic acid , a fatty acid that is essential for healthy skin. Furthermore, Biomimetic peptides boost collagen production, lip volume, softness, and hydration. Last, innovative vegetable derived ingredients act as a clean and comfortable base. Therefore, there is no need for petroleum jelly, or preservatives.
Gucci Westman Lip Suede Compact Shades
The shades are Fuchsia, Brick, Tomato Red, and Warm Dusty Rose. All of the shades have a matte finish. However, the matte finish isn’t drying, like most other matte finishes. Even more, the lipsticks can be worn on their own.
Although, the reason Gucci Westman likes a lipstick palette, instead of a lipstick bullet, is, you can mix and match the shades. Next, you can create your own customized shade. And, you can add depth to your lips. In addition, you can add a pop of color over another lipstick. 
The shades are long-lasting.

Finally, I am thrilled that Gucci Westman is starting to add color to her makeup line. I love the four shades she chose in her one and only lip palette. 
Also, it is so pretty to look inside, and see the ribbons of colors. Last, I love the idea of only needing to bring one small compact, when you travel. Usually, I pack at least ten lipstick bullets! Only, I end up wearing one in the day, and one or two at night. With this Lip Suede Compact, you really have all the shades you need.
The colors are gorgeous. And, the shades last, and feel good on your lips. Plus, the clean ingredients are good for your lips. 
You can use your fingers to apply. Also, you can use a lipstick brush. In fact, Gucci does have a lipstick brush for this purpose!
