Today, I want to show you the newest Makeup product, released in January, from Gucci. For one thing, this product didn’t have the fanfare that their other releases have had. For example, originally, Gucci made their makeup comeback with 58 new lipstick shades. Next, Gucci released a fabulous mascara. Last summer, the new release was the Gucci Bronzing Powder. Also, I can’t forget the Gucci Powder Eyebrow Pencil. All of the new Gucci makeup is pretty amazing. So, I was excited when Gucci released The Fluide De Beaute Gucci Natural Finish Fluid Foundation.
There are a few reasons why this foundation is special. First, the Gucci’s Natural Finish Fluid Foundation comes in 40 shades. Therefore, you have a lot of choices to find your perfect match. Also, the shades focus on undertones. In addition, the foundation gives you medium coverage. However, it is buildable. Even more, the new foundation has a natural finish that is slightly glowy. Finally,it stays in place all day, and feels like your second skin.
You can find the New Gucci Natural Finish Fluid Foundation at Sephora, SaksFifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and on the Gucci Website. The Gucci Foundation (1.0 fl. 0z./ 30mL) costs $68.
The Packaging For The Gucci Natural Finish Fluid Foundation
To begin with, the Foundation comes packaged in the signature Gucci Cosmetics black outer box, with the pink front. Next, the writing on the box is in black ink. Next, inside the box is the foundation, the bottle, is made with frosted glass. Then,the plastic lid is in the Gucci Pink that is on the box. In addition, the font on both bottle and lid, is in gold. 
Next, when you pull the lid off, the pump mechanism is in gold.
The Formula For The Gucci Natural Finish Fluid Foundation
First, the foundation has a light, floral fragrance. Therefore, if you are not into having fragrance in your beauty products, forget this one. Also, the formula is a liquid, that is rather thin. Although, it feels light and silky. Even more, layer the formula to build it up for more coverage.
Next, the formula uses Polymer Technology to give the foundation a transforming texture. In this way, application is easy. Soft Focus. Powder Technology blurs the look of imperfections, pores and wrinkles. Additionally, the formula includes Glycerin, a moisturizing humectant, improves the skin barrier functions.
Finally, the Natural Finish Fluid Foundation gives you great coverage, and a long-lasting finish. I used a stiff bristle foundation brush to apply it. The foundation blended perfectly using the foundation brush. In fact,it applied super smooth. Above all, it did a great job blurring imperfections, without creating a mask. Finally, it won’t cake, or settle into fine lines. It looks very natural, and it glows where you want it to glow.
The Shades For The Gucci Natural Finish Fluid Foundation
The shades go from the fairest of the fair, to the deepest of the deep. In between are medium light, medium, and medium tan shades. Each shade has an undertone. The undertones go from warm,to neutral, to cool, to olive, etc. Also, the foundation is made to go on every skintone, and every skin type. Also, there are so many choices,of shades and undertones, you will find the right shade.
I purchased two shades.
First, I purchased 330W, a medium shade with warm undertones.
Next, I purchased 340 N, a medium shade with Neutral Undertones.
My Final Thoughts On The Gucci Natural Finish Fluid Foundation…….
I liked the new Gucci Foundation. Although, I really didn’t like the fragrance. I felt it was too strong. Also, it is difficult to pick the right shade because there are several medium shades with neutral undertones. The two I purchased are too dark. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get into the stores with the Covid 19 Virus still rampant. I wish they could send several samples of medium neutral shades. I know I am one of them. You can’t really tell the shade from the pictures. And, it costs too much money to waste because I picked two shades that were too dark.
