There’s nothing better than a good bronzing powder! I used to love spending vacations lying in the sun. One thing was, I’d look healthy! Unfortunately, all those UVA/UVB rays aren’t good for you! Now, with sunscreens galore, I’m still looking pretty pale. As a result, Bronzers really are your next best thing. Above all, we use bronzers to mimic where the sun would hit our face naturally. This is also where you tan the darkest! And, where you look the healthiest! So, I am always buying new bronzers. This summer alone, I bought the new Fenty, Marc Jacobs, Kosas and Charlotte Tilbury Bronzers. My newest acquisition is the New Gucci Eclat Soleil Bronzing Powder.
All of these bronzers have something to offer. To begin with, the Fenty Bronzer is a cream. Also, the Marc Jacobs Bronzer is a stick for your body. Kosas, and Charlotte Tilbury came out with powder bronzers. What I love most about the Gucci Eclat Soleil Bronzer is, the packaging is outstanding, and the formula is dreamy. Even more, The Gucci Bronzer comes in 5 shades. Wow, that is unusual. Although, it is a great thing, since there is a bronzer for EVERY Skin tone!
You can find the Gucci Eclat Soleil Bronzing Powder exclusively at Sephora, Saks Fifth Avenue and on the Gucci Website. And, the Bronzing Powder ( 12g / 0.42 0z) costs $62.
The Packaging For The Gucci Eclat Soleil Bronzing Powder
First, the bronzing Powder comes in a gold and turquoise compact. This is unusual for Gucci, whose regular compact is pink and gold. However, the gold and turquoise compact is part of Gucci’s Summer 2020 Collection.
Furthermore, the compact has a hidden, secret compartment on the bottom of the compact. This is where there is a small, flat application brush. Now, you might be thinking what I thought. That is, I prefer to use one of my own fluffy brushes. However, you can’t carry around a big, fluffy brush. Therefore, it is great for travel, and on the go touch ups, to have a hidden brush. And, the brush isn’t half bad!
One last feature, since Gucci is a luxury brand and you are spending a lot of money, is a pink pouch that you can keep your compact in. This way, the compact won’t get scratched up, and will still look amazing on your vanity!
The Gucci Eclat Soleil Bronzing Powder Formula
The formula is a soft, pressed powder. Also, the pigments are sheer to medium. However, the formula is buildable. Also, the soft, silky texture of the powder feels creamy to the touch. Moreover, the bronzer has a natural finish. It is matte, but not flat!
Furthermore, the formula claims to smooth away imperfections. Additionally, it is a breathable formula that is easy to blend. Actually, the powder melds with your skin.
Finally, the powder has a floral scent. However, the minute I applied it to my face, it no longer had a scent.
The Eclat Soleil Bronzing Powder Shades
I love that the Eclat Soleil Bronzing Powder comes in five shades. The shades are (1) Fair, (2) Light, (3) medium, (4) tan, and (5) dark. I purchased (3) medium. Actually, for summer, I could have gone one shade darker. 
However, for year-round use, medium is perfect. Moreover, Medium is not too tan, and not too light.
Instead, it is enough to give me that sun-kissed, natural look. Therefore, it gives me a hint of color, not a full-blown tan! Had I gone a shade darker, I could have used it to add more contour to my face.
My Final Thoughts On The Eclat Soleil Bronzing Powder
I love that the bronzing powder looks natural on my skin. Some bronzers look fake. Not this one! Also, the formula is sheer, but buildable.
I love the soft silky texture of the powder. It feels really comfortable. I apply it to my face, where the sun would hit. So, I swipe it over my cheekbones, temples, and across the bridge of my nose. It is super easy to use.
