The Newest Technology for a Foundation, Giorgio Armani’s , Maestro Glow ($64 Neiman Marcus) and Maestro UV Skin Defense Primer ($64 Neiman Marcus) are the perfect duo to use during the summer months. After you moisturize your skin, what is usually the next step in your beauty routine? You are right if you said sunscreen, and you are also right if you said primer. How about a new generation makeup base (primer), and a UV 50 sunscreen in one beautiful product?

Maestro UV Skin Defense primer, Sunscreen, Broad Spectrum SPF 50 is a win – win product. First you have a makeup base that improves your overall makeup results. Yes, this primer has ” targeted fillers that blur your imperfections, and smooth out your skin” so your result is the smoothest canvas ever – the perfect base for applying your makeup. Not only will you look flawless, your makeup will last a long time.

And, besides the fact that it prolongs your makeup wear-time , this defense primer also combats factors that are associated with anti-aging such as; sun damage, free radicals and pollution.

Anti UVA/UVB invisible filters absorb the rays of the sun and prevent the rays from reaching your skin. Once rubbed into your skin, the formula becomes transparent. The SPF protection is 50, the texture of the formula is thin, lightweight, and it is not oily.

Maestro Glow is Giorgio Armani’s first bi-phase makeup elixir. What exactly is a bi-phase makeup elixir? It is a product that consists of skincare oils that are fused with pure pigment-saturated powders. When you look at the bottle, you actually see the two phases. They are separated in the bottle, a demarcation line exists between the oil and the pigment. You’ll need to shake the bottle really well so that the two products blend together.

Maestro Glow is a lightweight formula with skincare ingredients, perfect for the summer months when it is too hot to wear heavy products. First, it evens out the skin. It gives you an airy, flawless glow. It leaves you with the look of healthier skin – you’ll look fresh and illuminated, and have a dewy glow. Because it is not meant to give you heavy coverage , use a concealer to spot imperfections before you apply Maestro Glow.

I use approximately 6 drops, and I apply it with a beauty blender. A few drops covered my face, and it lasted a long time. It gave me sheer coverage, and evened out my skin, so I achieved a no makeup – makeup look!

There is no obvious shimmer in the formula. There is a subtle sheen. The formula is light-weight. It evened out my skin and left my skin looking healthy. Maestro Glow comes in nine shades. It helps to blur pores and fine lines. It blends perfectly. And as the name implies, it gives a dewy Glow and your skin will look perfectly plump this summer.
What I love about Giorgio Armani cosmetics……… I know the products are really expensive, but if you can afford them, they are worth it! It is a line that is super luxurious. They use good, quality ingredients. I have really dry skin. When I apply Maestro Glow to my skin, it looks like skin but even better. I love that it does not look cakey. I also love the look it gives, super glowy skin, in the summer. I forgot to mention that Maestro Glow also contains an SPF of 30. If you want the glow to last a long time you can put some setting powder over it to make it last longer. I love how good it makes my skin feel. It feels comfortable on my skin, it is nourishing, and my skin feels light and silky, And I love the glow!
