The inspiration for the seven piece Violette Capsule Collection was Violette’s trips to Provence, France. First, along the way on her trips to Provence, France, Violette loved seeing the beauty of light hitting the red poppies in the fields, and bouncing off of them. Also, the colors of the wheat fields, light golden shades, and darker earthy tones, were inspiration for the eye shadow palette. Therefore, the limited edition collection creates the sun-kissed fresh air-kissed warmth and clear light of Provence.

Soft Glow
Since the seven items in the collection are limited edition by Violette for Estee Lauder, the packaging was designed specifically for this Capsule Collection. Because the inspiration was red poppies, the packaging is white with red poppy petals.
Soft Glow is the reason I was so anxious to purchase some of the products in the collection. First of all, it is for lips and cheeks. And, it is a kiss of light anywhere you want to accent and define. I love products that are multi-tasking. Also, it adds dewiness to the complexion. A little dab will do ya!
Pure Color Envy Paint – On Liquid Lip Color

Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick by Violette Poppy Sauvage Collection
The Pure Color Envy Lipstick in Poesie is a nudey, dusty pink shade. Also, it looks good on everyone! Vin Noir, the other shade, is not as dark as it looks in the tube. Actually, it is a raspberry flash. The lipstick is super creamy. Therefore, it is comfortable to wear. Also, it is long-wearing.
I just came back from two weeks in South America. I wore Poesie day and night in four different countries. It went with everything. And, it was soft and super creamy. I loved it. Furthermore, Violette suggests you blur the edges of your lips with a lip brush to soften them for that just kissed look!
The Eyes Have It
I didn’t purchase the Pure Color Envy Sculpting eye Shadow. It is a five color palette by Violette. In addition, the shades were light golden hues and deeper earthier shades. I loved the palette, However, I have too many neutral, earthy eye shadow palettes and I couldn’t rationalize another one! I did purchase the Deluxe Eye Crayon. The shade is called Terre d’or. It is a dirty gold shade. Violette suggests you rub the crayon on the eye. Then, blend it with your fingers. As a result, you will have a messy smoked eye. Most important, it is mistake-proof!
Sculpting Blush Duo
Last, I purchased the Pure Color Envy Sculpting Blush duo by Violette. It has nude bronze shade to define, called Soleil Dure, and a healthy pink shade Camellia. The result is a soft touch of color that is fresh and radiant. I really loved the blush, and I mixed the shades together, defined with the nude bronze shade, and put the pink shade on the apples of my cheeks for a pop of color.

First, if you haven’t seen Violette’s videos, you must! You’ll fall in love with her nonchalant expertise. And, I know you’ll agree with me that she is adorable! And, as far as her first, seven piece Capsule Collection for Estee Lauder, you’ll love that too! Number one, the capsule collection is universally flattering. The formula’s are great, the lipsticks are comfy, and the blush is soft and radiant! I love the soft glow, which was my must-have choice in the collection.
