Have you watched Christine Dominique’s You tubes? For one thing, she is is a big You tube star. Also, she has her own makeup line. For example, her Latte eyeshadow palettes are huge. Recently, Dominique Cosmetics released a Highlighter Palette. The Dominique Prisma Glow Highlight Palette has four highlighters. Actually, one of the shades is really a skin gloss. Although, it can act as a subtle highlighter. Above all, the thing I love most about this palette is you can use one shade as a stand alone highlighter. However, you can also layer the shades to create your very own custom highlight. Even more, you can create a subtle highlight. Also, you can create a blinding highlight
You can find the Dominique Prisma Glow Highlight Palette, (0.12 oz/ 4X 3.5g), at Sephora, Nordstrom, and on the Dominique Cosmetics Website. And, the Dominique Prisma Glow Highlight Palette costs $36.

Also, there is a plastic sheet that covers the highlighters. The reason for the sheet is so that powder kickback can’t mix with the other shades. In other words, the kickback from the powders , and the rest of the palette, won’t get dirty. Finally, a shiny pink coating covers the cardboard palette.. Moreover, the lid of the palette lifts to open. Then, you put it down to close it.
The Formula For The Prisma Glow Highlight Palette
INGREDIENTS
Prisma Glow Highlighter Palette is Cruelty Free, and Bunny Approved. Moreover, the top ingredient in the formula is talc. So, if you can’t use talc, don’t try this palette! First, the Skin Gloss is dewy and creamy. It blurs and plumps your skin. Because it blurs your skin, you can use it to prime your skin. Even more, Skin Gloss is a hydrating cream highlight. It dries down to a non-sticky velvety finish. Also, wear the powder highlights on top of the Skin Gloss. Use it on your no-makeup, makeup days. It blends in easily.
The Golden Hour Prisma Glow Highlighter gives your skin a luminous look. The other two shades, Fire Glow and Pink Haze are shade shifters. The biggest problem with the powder highlighters is glitter. That is,t he formula uses too much glitter. So, Pink Haze, leaves glitter that sits on top of your skin. Even worse, the glitter doesn’t adhere to your skin. As a result, it travels all over your face.
Another thing, the richly pigmented shades tend to be too dark for fair and light skin tones. Although, you could wear these deeper shades as blush. That is, if you like a lot of glitter in your blush! However, these deeper shades make great highlighters for medium, dark, and deep skin tones.
The Prisma Glow Highlighter Shades
TOP L TO R – SKIN GLOSS, AND GOLDEN HOUR BOTTOM L TO R- FIRE GLOW AND PINK HAZE
First, Skin Gloss, a champagne shade has a dewy, creamy finish. It blends nicely into your skin. It dries down to a velvety finish.
Next, Golden Hour, a warm Gold Shade, has a metallic finish. Furthermore, Golden Hour gives your skin a luminous effect.
The Dominique Prisma Glow Highlight Palette swatches. Starting on the left, is the Champagne shade, Skin Gloss. Next to that is Golden Hour, a beautiful warm gold shade. Following that is Pink Haze, a shade shifting white gold to light pink shade. Last, the shade on the right is Fire Glow, another shade shifter, that is rose gold, and shifts to a bronze shade.
Then, Fire Glow, a rose gold shade, that shifts to bronze, has a metallic finish. Fire Glow is a shade – shifting highlighter. If you think Fire Glow is too deep a color, you can use it as an eye shadow topper. Also, you can wear this rose gold bronze shade on your cheeks, as a blush.
Last, Pink Haze, a soft white gold shade that shifts to a soft pink shade, has a pearl finish. Another shade- shifting powder, you also have a lot of glitter in this one. So, I really like this Pink Haze as a shadow topper, over another eye shadow. In this way, it will add dimension, and special effects to your eye shadow look.
My Final Thoughts On The Dominique Prisma Glow Highlight Palette …….
First, this Highlight Palette is large. Therefore, it is good and bad. First, the good thing is you get a lot of product. And, a little product goes a long way. Therefore, you’ll have this palette for ever!!!! And, the bad thing is, the shape and size of the palette is bulky. As a result, you really won’t want to take it with you. Anywhere!
So, there is lots of product per shade. Also, I love the shades because they are fun, fresh and pretty. I don’t mind the deep pigments, because I have a medium complexion. However, if you are light or fair, forget it. These shades can be too dark for you. And, you aren’t going to spend a lot of money on a highlighter palette to then have to use the shades as eye toppers. Or, for that matter, blush.
Also, I love that the highlighters feel silky and buttery. Their super creamy formula blends well. Also, I like that the shades can be worn on their own, or together.
One last thing, the glitter is, well, very glittery. So, if you aren’t a glitter girl, don’t even attempt this palette. You aren’t going to like it.
