I am a big Becca Cosmetics fan. If you are unfamiliar with Becca cosmetics, the line was founded in 2001. Becca Cosmetics is the child of creator, Australian model turned makeup artist, Rebecca Morrice Williams. Rebecca searched for six years to find the ideal products that could create the look of perfect skin. She never found them so she decided to create them herself. Rebecca reached her goal and created products that would reveal your natural beauty instead of just camouflaging it. Lightweight and luxurious, the Becca line was designed to perfect the skin and enhance your features by making your skin look fresh, clear and naturally radiant.
When the first Sephora store opened in our mall (and what a happy day that was for me!) I went to the Becca products first because I had heard so much about them and I wanted to give them a try. In those days Becca’s line was known for it’s superior and extensive color range – a color for every skin tone- which was the basis for her foundations concealers, and powders, and it is what put them on the map. Then, in a blink, Becca Cosmetics , as happens to so many of the brands at Sephora , just disappeared from Sephora’s shelves. About two years ago I am happy to say, Sephora brought Becca Cosmetics back to their stores. And the brand has grown to become a more extensive, innovative line with a full- range of products for the face, eyes, cheeks, and lips that have become so popular it’s hard to find a makeup bag without something in it from Becca.
The newest addition to the Becca Line is the Shimmering Skin Perfecter Luminous Blush. All six colors will be available at Sephora.com for $34.00 in April. Sephora released two of the colors earlier ( for their VIP members) Snapdragon and Tigerlily.
Both colors are highly pigmented, so it is really important to have a light hand when applying them. This will insure that the blushes not only look natural, but that they last a very long time. These blushes will definitely be my go to for Spring and Summer because they create the most complimentary, luminous and transparent glow on my cheeks. In fact, I’ve even started using them now because my skin is really dull and drab from no sunshine and having pale winter skin. The blush really wakes up my complexion. It leaves me with a vivid flush of color that appears dewy. I love that it gives me a sheen that is so stunning because… no glitter no sparkles. The texture is soft and buttery, and the formula is really easy to blend.
These blushes were inspired by the Becca Favorite ‘The Shimmering Skin Perfecter’. They provide you with just the right balance of color and light. These multi-dimensional blushes are really versatile. They can be worn alone to obtain a subtle blushed luminosity, and they can be worn on top of a matte blush to create an added pop of radiance. I can’t wait til the other colors come in, I have a couple shades that are calling my name! We all need these blushes!

You are awesome! I know some of us are just not too computer savvy.Believe me, I am one of them. It is taking me forever to learn how to do anything on the computer. It can be really frustrating. Today,for example, I am having a hard time creating the link to Sephora. I am going to have to get my son out of bed to help me. Sylvie is no help at all. Right now she is enjoying herself- chewing on a very long bully stick that she most likely stole from one of the Great Danes- and she is in her fluffy pink doggie bed sitting next to me. Actually, she is ignoring me now, the bully stick is way more entertaining than watching mom struggle trying to link Sephora to the blog!
