First, the packaging reminds me of the traditional Nars eyeshadow palettes. For one thing, the palette has a matte black finish. Furthermore, the compact is a sleek, and thin rectangle. And, you can hold it in the palm of your hand. Although the palette is plastic, the compact feels like velvet!
In addition, the back of the compact shows you the names of the five shades in the palette.
Inside, the palette has a full-size mirror. On the opposite side, are the 5 circular eyeshadow pans. Finally, the shades start with the lightest shade and goes darker and darker and darker, to the darkest shade. Above all, are you thinking that the palette is not complete? Where is the eyeshadow applicator brush? There is no brush in the palette. The reason is, you don’t need a brush! Simply apply these bouncy shadows with your fingers.

The two palettes were inspired by the natural beauty of the sunlit sky. I purchased the Dawn Palette. The Dawn Palette was designed with shades that reflect a sunrise. On the other hand, Dusk reflects the shades of a sunset.
Aurora
First, Aurora, a holographic white shade, has a shimmering finish. Wear Aurora as a highlighter. First, you can use it on the inner corners of your eyes. Also, wear Aurora on your brow bone.
Pink Cloud
Next, Pink Cloud, a blush pink shade, has a satin finish. To begin with, I would wear Pink Cloud as a base color all over my eyelids. Then, I would layer one of the darker shades in the crease, and on the outer corners. Also, I love this shade as a highlighter, on the inner corners of your eyes. Furthermore, wear Pink Cloud on your brow bone. Or, mix Pink Cloud with another color.
Misty Morning
Third, Misty Morning, a soft rose shade, has a satin finish. Misty Morning is my favorite shade in the palette. I love wearing it on my eyelids, in the crease, and to line my lower lash lines. Then, I would use a darker shade on the outer corners of my eyes, and on the outer half of my eyelids.
Hazy Taupe
Fourth, Hazy Taupe, a cool taupe shadow, has a satin finish. First, Hazy Taupe is a beautiful shade to create a smoky eye. Do it like I was taught when I visited the Claudio Riaz Counter at Barneys. One, bounce the shadow on your finger. then, start on the inner lid and swipe the color to the outer lid, and slightly beyond. In this way, you are smoking it out. It’s one easy way to do it when you have a cream shadow to work with. It is a quick and easy smoky eye.
Stormy Sky
Last, Stormy Sky, a deep charcoal shade, has a satin finish. Stormy is perfect for your crease. Also, use it in the outer part of your eyelids. And, mix it with another color. and use it to line your bottom lash lines. And, to add definition to your eyes, attach the lower lash line to the outer corner of your eye.

To apply, just use your finger and blend the shadow onto your skin. One thing to know, the color you get with one swipe is not as pigmented as the color in the pan. So, one layer gives you a sheer wash of color. However, two layers make more of a color impact. Although, three layers will increase the color and dimension, to give you a bold, blurred look.
As a result, these shades will take you from day to night. All you need to do is layer the color until you get the impact you want. You can also mix two colors together to create your own color! This palette is fun to play with!!!
