The new for holiday 2022 Chantecaille Lotus Collection includes four products: The Lotus Perfect Glow Powder, The Lotus Blossom Radiant Blush, The Lotus Radiance Highlighter, and The Pink Opal Lip Crystal. So different this New Lotus Collection is from last year’s holiday collection.

Last year’s Chantecaille 2021 Holiday Collection included three products, an opalescent pink highlighter, a soft pink blush shade that gave you a rosy flush, and an eye sheen that looks eh in the pan, but, surprise!, it actually is a gorgeous duochrome shade with a beautiful color shift.. You can’t always judge an eyeshadow by its color! Even the 2021 holiday packaging, was gorgeous, the round cases sparkled with lots of pearls encrusted on top. And, the cases came in the most beautiful sheer pink dust bags. Holiday 2021 was so pretty, so exciting, and so giftable.
This year, the Lotus Collection is a pretty, more ethereal collection. Color?-not so much! 
Instead, the blush gives your cheeks more sheen than flush. 
The Glow Powder gently blurs, smooths and perfects your skin giving you a hint of radiance, and an ethereal glow. 
And the skin perfecting radiant highlighter luminates the highpoints of your face with an incandescent warmth. 
The lip crystal looks like crystals, that on your lips give you a metallic shine.
The outer box is recyclable, and FSC Mix Packaging. Products that bear this label are made using a mixture of materials from FSC-certified forests, recycled materials, and/or FSC controlled wood.The outer packaging box, a pastel mint green, is the same shade as the three inside cases. 
Each has a gold thingamajig, a medallion? with holes in it, on the outer lid of the palette. 
The three cases are square.
Inside, each case has a mirror underneath the lid. On the other side of the mirror is the pan of either blush, highlighter, or blur powder. The packaging reminds me of spring, not the winter holidays. As a result, I am not sure I would want to gift any of these palettes for the Holidays. The packaging was eh, it didn’t seem festive. It didn’t say Holiday Gift Worthy, to me. And, the collection was not a color collection. Instead, the three powders were more about lighting, giving you reflective sheen, hints of radiance, and an ethereal glow.
The one purchase, I feel good about, is the Pink Opal Lip Crystal. With each purchase, Chantecaille will donate $.50 of the purchase to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to support planting 1 tree. It’s what the holidays are all about! 
The lipstick case is the Lotus Collection’s mint green, and it has a magnetic closure. 
The lipstick has sparkles on the surface that look like crystals.
If used on its own, the pearl infused pink opal lipstick will give you a pink pearlescent maximum metallic shine.
Or, you can wear this as a topper over your favorite lipstick. The LIp Swatch on the right end has a metallic finish.
