Hello Week! Have a great Monday!
Let’s
do
this!
Eve Lom’s multi-award winning, iconic cleanser is considered by most to be the best facial cleanser in the whole world! It consistently remains the #1 favorite in the United Kingdom . The Eve Lom Balm is currently celebrating its thirty year anniversary!

I love it so much that whenever QVC has their super-size available, I order a few of them. If you love it, ordering the supersize version with three 100% cotton muslin cloths is definitely the way to go because the savings are unbelievable. Eve Lom Original Balm Cleanser Supersized 500 ml ($109.96) at QVC, Eve Lom Original Balm Cleanser in 50 ml ($50), 100 ml ($80), and 200 ml ($135) at Space NK.

Eve Lom was the first brand to simplify our nighttime cleansing routine. And by making it luxurious, at the same time as cleansing, she created an easy, quick routine that made the arduous task of removing our makeup and thoroughly cleansing our face at night something we could look forward to and enjoy. Eve, a world renowned skincare expert herself, believes that the key to radiant, glowing skin should always begin with the skin cleanser.

Eve pioneered the balm texture. There are actually five “products” in this one jar. The cleanser is an eye makeup remover, a face makeup remover, a toner, a purifier/hydrater and a moisturizing serum. Add the muslin clothes to the mix, and the balm/cloth also is an exfoliater, exfoliating away the dead skin cells.

Eve Lom’s Cleanser is mineral oil based botanicals. The luxurious botanical formula takes off all traces of makeup and dirt. The balm has an herbal scent, as it is made with four essential oils: chamomile, eucalyptus, hops, and clove. The oils work in conjunction with each other to get rid of all traces of makeup and dirt. There is also an infusion of cocoa butter which adds moisture and softness to the skin. Together with the muslin cloth the skin achieves a brighter, toned and more even complexion over time. It improves the circulation of the skin. It is expertly balanced for all skin types.
This is how I personally use the product:
Use it on dry skin. Put it on with dry hands. It is not as effective on wet skin!
Take a dollop, approximately the size of a quarter with your dry hand, from the jar .
I massage it in circular motions all over my face to spread the product into the skin.
I put the muslin cloth in very hot water, as hot as I can tolerate. If you have sensitive skin I would suggest using tepid water.
I wring the cloth out to get rid of the excess water, and I open it up.

To get the enjoyable, “spa-like” experience that Eve Lom intended for us to have with our evening routine, lay the steamy cloth on your face and count to five…..slowly. You almost feel like you are giving yourself a treatment! And it melts the balm into your skin and begins to emulsify the makeup and dirt on your face.
Then, I re-wet the muslin cloth in hot, hot water again, wring it out, but this time I fold it, and with circular motions I remove the makeup along with the balm. This is how to exfoliate those dead skin cells away, too.
This entire cleansing experience should take about a minute! It is that easy.
What I love About Eve Lom Original Cleansing Balm is……..It saves so much time at night, when I’m tired, because the routine quickly and easily dissolves my makeup with ease-even the stubborn waterproof makeup like mascara, and pigmented lipstick- and it thoroughly cleanses my skin, without stripping it and it doesn’t make it feel dry and uncomfortable. I love that it cleanses, decongests, tones, exfoliates and removes stubborn waterproof makeup. It is a luxury cleanser that makes my night cleansing routine enjoyable. I really do look forward to it. I love the smell of the vapors in the hot muslin, and it feels so good on my skin. I feel like I am giving myself a facial every night. And when I am finished, it leaves my skin feeling soft, moisturized and exfoliated and it looks radiant and it glows! And with regular use, my skin looks brighter, toned, and more even.
