For one thing, this is not a new, innovative idea. In fact, these clear lip balms have been around for a long time. The only difference is, the original version of the clear, color-changing lip balm comes out of Korea. Instead of gold flecks, the Korean version , Mystic Lipstick, has a dried flower suspended inside the lip balm. Also, depending on what you choose, the lipsticks have different tints. Although, the biggest difference between the Mystic Lipsticks, and Tom Ford’s Lip Blush, is the price. The Mystic Lipsticks cost about $10. Even more, there is a Mystic Lip product that also has gold flecks in it. It is called Mystic Jelly Lipstick.

The one thing the Tom Ford Lip Balm has going for it is the packaging. First, the outer box is gilded in gold foil.. First thing first, the packaging looks expensive.
The outer packaging and the lip balm tube are mirror-like, gold-tones. Even more, the tube feels weighty in my hands. As a result, the packaging looks and feels lux.
Also, the suspended fleck of solid gold suspended in the clear lip balm, looks outstanding in the gold packaging. So, it’s all in the packaging! Therefore, women are willing to spend the big bucks for a lip care/treatment that gives you a hint of color.
The Tom Ford Soleil Collection 2020 Lip Blush Formula
Ingredient Callouts: Free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban.
The texture of the formula isn’t greasy . Also, it isn’t sticky. The formula doesn’t include fragrance. However, your lips instantly feel moisturized.
Once the lip balm hits your lips, your lips instantly transform.
Your lips become a sheer, subtle pink shade.
Actually, I’ll admit that the pink shade looks really good.
My Final Thoughts : Tom Ford Lip Blush
I’m musing….so you are paying for Tom Ford, a brand name. 
Also, you are paying for the beautiful gilded packaging. Finally you are paying for the flecks of gold suspended inside the lip balm. Furthermore, it is not new. Therefore, it is not innovative. It just looks pretty.
However, I like that it is moisturizing. So, if you suffer from dry lips, you could use this lip balm. However, it is a lot cheaper to use a chapstick.
Although, I love that once the balm was on my lips, the clear balm transformed into a beautiful pink tint.
Although, it is not a long-lasting pink! It wears off as soon as you have a drink of water.,
Finally, if you love brands, like most of us, you will love having this in your Tom Ford Collection. However, if you want a clear lip balm that changes color on your lips, there are a lot of them out there. Not only are they available, they are much, much cheaper.
