Move Over Kylie Jenner. These are the next big lip kits and they are already far surpassing the Kylie LIP-KIT style! They are Huda Kattan’s newest release at Sephora. For those of you not familier with Huda Kattan, she was born in the US from Iraqi parents, and was Hollywood trained as a makeup artist and consultant. She moved to Dubai with her husband and created the Blog : “Huda Beauty”. It became the #1 Blog in the Middle East, and one of the top 20 beauty blogs in the world. They say that Huda Beauty put Dubai on the map! She became a social media phenomenon and a top beauty influencer on Instagram. Her mission is “helping women realize their beauty.”
Huda, in partnership with Sephora, created a successful line of eyelashes. Last week she released her newest endeavor, the Huda Beauty Lip Contour Pencils. ($19) There are nine colors in the collection. Unfortunately, Sephora is selling them at a rapid rate, and few if any are left! It pays to get on a wait list if there is a specific color you want. I was able to grab four colors.
Famous is a deep Burgandy.
Cheerleader is a muted red.
Video Star is Pink
Vixen is Brown.
These pencils are great for contouring your lips if they are flat, thin, wide, narrow or an uneven shape. What I love about the Huda Beauty Contour Lip Pencil is…they glide on your lips easily in a single swipe, they leave an intense color that is waterproof and transfer proof and I love that they are a matte finish. You can wear them alone, or you can use two colors, one for contouring, the other to fill in the lips. The best part is my lips looked subtly plumper. Everyone kept telling me how great I looked, and they didn’t realize it was a result of my newly contoured lips!
