Huda Beauty Recently released a really hot eyeshadow palette called Desert Dusk. Prior to Desert Dusk, Huda had a summer palette in two shades, Pink Sand and Golden Sand. Huda Beauty’s 3D Golden Sands Highlighter Palette had shades that gave us the perfect warm summer glow. Opposite Golden Sands, and for the reverse season, Huda has released the Huda Beauty Winter Highlighter Palette (click here for the link to purchase) ($45). Also, the Winter Highlighter Palette is part of the Winter Solstice Collection, which is Huda Beauty’s Holiday Collection, The Winter Solstice collection also includes a mini set of 4 strobe lip glosses. The Solstice Collection is a whimsical because of the cool-toned pastel highlighter and lip gloss shades. Therefore, four gorgeous icy-cold shades completes both the Winter Solstice Highlighter Palette and the Mini Strobe lip gloss kit .

No mirror? I think a mirror should be a given in considering the Huda Brand is exciting and fabulous. However, I am in love with the quasi-holographic picture that is the mirror’s replacement. The picture looks like there is a huge icy snowflake in the center. Then, the snowflakes is surrounded by ice crystals. Did the snowflake create the ice crystals, or did the ice crystals create the snowflake? Obviously, the picture has me thinking. Yet, I am thinking that Huda should start putting mirrors in her palettes.
Huda Beauty Winter Highlighter Palette Formula

There are two formulas in the highlighter palette. Iridescent white pearls are infused to create both formulas. As a result, the palette has a gorgeous duo-chrome effect. Most important, the palette’s shades flatter every skin-tone. In addition, the powders are easy to blend. Specifically, you are able to achieve either a subtle icy radiance or, the shades can be intensified for all out drama.
Creamy
First, one shade is a pearlescent creamy formula that creates a smooth, buttery, and melted strobe cream. Therefore, it creates the perfect canvas for layering the powders.
Powders
There are three creamy highlighting powders in the palette. Interestingly, each powder has been hand-made by Huda, herself! Hence, Huda created a unique light-reflecting pearl formula. For this purpose, the powders easily give you a luminous flush.
The Winter Highlighter Palette Shades

First, the Creamy Formulated Frosted Kiss is an icy iridescent pink shade. It can be worn on its own. However, it works well as a base for your powders.

Next to Frosted Kiss, to the right, is Arctic Glow. Arctic Glow is a warm blue multi-toned illuminator.

Most likely, Arctic Glow would be the most difficult shade to wear. Obviously, because it is blue, it is not a daytime shade. However, for a nighttime party, such as New Years Eve, it would be appropriate. In a party situation, I think arctic Glow would look amazing. Also, if you are not thrilled with wearing blue on your face, wear it on your eyes!

Winter Rose is a gorgeous dusky pink shade that is infused with a shot of silver. Besides wearing Winter Rose as a cheek highlighter, it can also be worn on your eyes.
In the picture of Huda, she has Winter Rose in the crease of her eyes. She is wearing Northern Lights on her lids.

In the pan Northern Lights looks like there is some green in it. However, the swatch shows a beautiful soft golden shade.
Northern Lights is a holographic highlighter with duo-chrome tones in soft gold and bronze. It is a fabulous shade that looks great wherever you place it. First, you can wear Northern Lights on your cheekbones. Next, wear it in the inside corners of your eyes. In the picture, Huda is wearing Northern Lights on her eyelids.

Sum
Huda left her hot desert princess persona in the desert and has morphed into an ethereal ice queen. This palette is gorgeous. I love the icy, cool-toned shades. I am a huge fan of Huda. and I love her Beauty Line.
The days get shorter, and darker, and the arctic winds are blowing the remaining leaves off the trees, we can all agree that Winter is Coming. We are heading into the Holiday Season. It seems like Halloween was just yesterday! Thanksgiving is this week. We are getting ready to celebrate with our families and friends. My best friend , who lives in Madrid, is coming for the holiday tomorrow. In the meantime I will be cooking for 27 hungry turkey lovers. Significantly, I look forward to Thanksgiving every year. This year is special for me. First, it is my grandson’s first holiday dinner. Also, my dearest friend is coming to spend some time with me. And, I love being with my family. I am telling you this because I am taking a few days off (for the first time in almost two years) to enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. Also I will be cooking a feast for Thursday. I want to wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving. Remember, we are the lucky ones. We have a lot to be Thankful For! What are you Thankful for? I’ll see you next week!
xoxo
