Wayne Goss, makeup guru to us all, has released his first, ever, makeup. Moreover, Wayne’s fans, including myself, have been waiting for his makeup for a long time. Although, I’m already a fan of Wayne’s makeup brushes. I’ve purchased quite a few of his brushes. As a makeup artist, Wayne believes that if you have the right brushes, everything becomes easier. For a few years, Wayne has been working on his dream, his own makeup collection,. His goal was to produce a high-end makeup line. Even more, he wanted his makeup , done to his specifications. Also it had to look good, and feel comfortable. Furthermore, his makeup had to have amazing performance. As a result, for his first release, Wayne chose Woman’s Best Friend… that would be Lipstick! Finally, with a lot of blood, sweat and tears, the Wayne Goss Cosmetics Lip Collection for Summer 2020 was born.

Also, good to know, Wayne self-funded his makeup collection. As a result, different products will be released over time. Although Wayne Goss Cosmetics Lip Collection for Summer 2020 has been a great starting point to get the ball rolling. For one thing, all women own a lipstick. The reason is , Lipstick makes women feel good. So, Wayne created ten Classic Luxury Cream Lipsticks. But, he did it his own way, to look good, feel good, and have high performance. Furthermore, He made modern the 1990’s high shine lip gloss . And, he created seven new shades fit for 2020 newness. Finally, Wayne created five new matte lip pencils.Additionally, these lip pencils pair well with his Cream Lipstick and High Shine Lip Gloss shades.

A Word About Wayne Goss
First of all, for me, Wayne is a makeup artist. Also, he is an amazing teacher. I’ve watched his youtube channel for years. Often-times I will even write about tips and tricks Wayne has taught us on his channel. On a personal note, Wayne is the most genuine, real youtube personality out there. I’m a huge fan. Even more, I refer to him as my beauty guru! I respect his makeup reviews. If Wayne says it is good, it is good. If it isn’t a good product, he will tell you that too. Yet, he does so in an ever so humble, sincere way.
A few years ago Wayne created his own makeup brushes. They are expensive, but they are really well done, and easy to handle. His brushes have reached cult status. Furthermore, applying makeup is all about the proper brushes. Basically, according to Wayne, if you have the right brush, you can apply makeup.
Wayne has wanted to do this makeup line for years. In fact, he has been working on it for years. And, he has had some ups and downs with it. However, Wayne, you did it! And, not only did he do it, he self-funded the whole shabang! I’m so proud of him. So, believe me when I tell you, if Wayne is making it, and designing it, it has to be good. He did his big reveal on his own Youtube Channel that you can see here. Also, Youtuber Mel Thompson, another favorite of mine, tries all the products on her channel, with swatches.
Wayne Goss Cosmetics Lip Collection Luxury Cream Lipstick
To begin with, the Luxury Cream Lipstick is a dream lipstick for a few reasons. First, of course, the formula is so good, your lips will thank you! Also, the shades are perfect for everyone. Or, should I say, there are shades for everyone. At first look, the neutral shades look almost alike. However, take a good look at them. Even Wayne says, if you can’t find the shade you want, you can go up or down a shade.
Even more, it is difficult for me to find my perfect neutral. However, I found a few of them in this collection. A few of the neutrals that I wanted had already sold out. Therefore, I took Wayne’s advice, and went up or down a shade. All of the shades I ended up choosing look great on me. Most of the shades are everyday shades that I’ll wear a lot. I call these no brainer lipsticks.
The Wayne Goss Cosmetics Lip Collection Luxury Cream Lipstick Packaging
First, Wayne, I love your packaging. For one thing, I love the two colors you chose, black and silver.
Also, I love that the packaging is minimalistic. And, it looks sophisticated. In addition, it feels good in the hand. Even more, the tube is sharp-looking. 
It is a rectangular tube, that twists up and twists down. It is that simple. Yet, less is more in this case. Also, I love the silver foil outer packaging. It is eye catching!
The Wayne Goss Cosmetics Lip Collection Luxury Cream Lipstick Formula
Who doesn’t want a lipstick that is comfortable, and feels pillowy on your lips? To begin, the formula contains a blend of botanical oils, butters, and waxes that nourish the delicate skin on your lips. Also, it adds a plush texture that makes the lipstick feel so good on your lips. The lipsticks just slip right onto your lips. The reason is, the formula is so creamy and silky. Therefore it is super easy to apply this lipstick. You could do it without using a mirror!
Moreover, the semi-opaque formula adapts to your lips. As a result, the formula is not fussy. Instead, the look is elegant. One pass equals sheer to ight coverage. Two layers create medium to full coverage. Also, two layers ad dimension and volume to your lips. I love that the formula is hydrating. Also, the lipstick is without fragrance. As its name states, this is a Luxurious Cream Lipstick that has a satiny, sheen finish.
One thing about the lipsticks is the shades are not opaque. As a result, you can move up or down a shade, if you can’t find the one you want. Either way, your own lips will shine through the lipstick.
The Shades of the Wayne Goss Cosmetics Luxury Lip Collection Lipstick
I was lucky enough to purchase four of the Luxury Cream Lipsticks. So far, I have Zinnia, Orchid, Carnation, and Lotus. Of course, I would like a few more shades, that were already sold out. However, Wayne promises that he will restock the shades as they sell out. So, if you didn’t get a shade you wanted, you will, soon, Wayne Promised!What I can say is, these shades are timeless. In other words, they won’t ever go out of style. Therefore, the shades are wearable. And, all of these shades will enhance your natural beauty.
Zinnia
First, Zinnia, a rich berry shade, has a satin finish. Zinnia is the richest shade in the mix. Although, I would wear this shade both day and night.
Orchid
Next, Orchid, a burnt terracotta shade, has a satin finish. First, Orchid is another gorgeous shade. I love to wear terracotta in the summer, especially with a tan.
Carnation
Then, Carnation, a deep balanced mauve shade, has a satin finish. Carnation is another great day to night shade. These three shades are the ones I consider to not be so neutral. However, in some ways, especially with a tan, I would wear these shades as neutrals. But, that is just me.
Lily
In addition, Lily, a muted rose pink, has a satin finish. Also, Lily sold out really quickly. It was another shade I would have purchased.
Lotus
Finally, Lotus, a deep brown pink shade, has a satin finish. Now, Lotus is a perfect neutral shade for me.
Amaryllis
Although, I would have loved to get Amaryllis, a medium neutral pink shade, with a satin finish. Once this comes in stock, I am going to make a mad dash for it, because it looks so beautiful.
Magnolia
However, Magnolia, a soft petal pink shade, has a satin finish, is definitely not for me. It’s too soft for my olive complexion. If you are fair, or fair to medium, it is a gorgeous shade for you.
Dahlia
Moreover, Dahlia, a warm pink peach shade, has a satin finish. For one thing, Dahlia was one of the shades I wanted. Therefore, I went down a shade, to Lotus. Turns out, Lotus is a good shade for me. Yet, when Dahlia comes available, I’m going to be first in line.
Camellia
Furthermore, Camellia, a light peachy beige shade, has a satin finish. Maybe too light for me, I am not sure. I love peach and I love beige, but it says light, so I’ll pass. However, if you are fair, light, or medium, go for this one, it is a beauty.
Daisy
Finally, Daisy, a classic pink beige shade, has a satin finish. I think Daisy would be light for me. Although, if you are fair, medium, or light, go for this beautiful pink beige shade. It is really beautiful.

Here Wayne pays homage to the 90’s with his neutral high shine lip gloss!
Wayne Goss Cosmetics Lip Collection High Shine Gloss Packaging
Again, the outer packaging is in keeping with the rest of the collection. The outer box is foiled and matte silver. Inside, the High Shine Gloss is in a clear rectangular tube, with a black lid. Also, it has a doe-footed applicator. The packaging resembles the very efficient Fenty Gloss Bomb.
Wayne Goss Cosmetics Lip Collection High Shine Gloss Formula
First , the formula is a creamy glaze that has a high shine finish. Next, there are two finishes. First, there are cream shades. Second, there are shimmering shades. To begin with the cream shades, if you love a no makeup makeup look, these shades are for you. The reason is, your lips will look like your lips but better. On the other hand, the shimmering shades add more shimmer and glitz to your lips. Therefore, shimmer is a great topper for night looks. It is a little dressier.
The formula includes cold-pressed botanical extracts and conditioning emollients. In this way, these offer a lacquer finish. Also the ingredients nourish your lips. Even more, peppermint oil is included to plump up your lips, and give them a refreshing finish.
There are three ways to wear the High Shine Lip Gloss. First, wear it alone. Next, you can wear it over your lipstick. In fact, in the 90’s, we never went home with just a lipstick. Always, the seller made sure you had a beautiful lip gloss that would finish your look. Last, you can wear the lip gloss layered over your lip liner.

Chrysanthemum
Finally, I was only able to purchase one of the seven shades of High Shine Gloss. However, I did get the one I wanted most, which is the shade Chrysanthemum! The reason I had to have Chrysanthemum is because it is the perfect gloss for a bronzed summer look. Chrysanthemum, a golden brown shade, has a shimmering, lacquered finish.
Hibiscus
I would have loved to get some of the other shimmer shades. First, Hibiscus, a cool rose gold shade, has a shimmering finish. Also, Hibiscus would look great, with a lip pencil, as a summer shade.
Antique Rose
Also, Antique Rose, a nude rose shade, has a shimmering finish.
Tulip
Finally, Tulip, a nude beige shade, has a shimmering finish. Both Antique Rose and Tulip are also beautiful shimmering shades. So, when more become available, I hope to pick at least one more.
Petunia
Petunia, a deep nude mauve shade, has a lacquered finish. This is a beautiful gloss that should be worn alone, or over another lipstick-the way we did it in the 90’s! One day your in, the next day your out, and then a few years later, you are in again!
Cherry Blossom
Next, Cherry Blossom, a medium neutral pink shade, has a shiny lacquered finish. Cherry Blossom is another beautiful shade. Remember, these shades are your looks but better.
Hyacinth
Finally, Hyacinth, a soft pink peach shade, has a shiny lacquered finish. All these shades would make great no makeup makeup looks. Or, wear them to enhance, and shine up another shade. As they said in the 90’s, it will finish your look.
Wayne Goss Cosmetics Lip Collection Lip Liners
There are five lip liners in the Wayne Goss Cosmetics Collection. However, they all go with the colors of the Lipsticks and Lip Glosses in the collecion. Therefore you will be able to find one or 2 liners that go with your lipstick and glosses.
Wayne Goss Cosmetics Lip Collection Lip Liners Packaging
First, the lip liner packaging is in keeping with the rest of the Wayne Goss Collection. Therefore, the outer boxes are the same foiled and matte silver shades. Inside, the lip liner looks just like a pencil. Also, the liners have an incredibly sharp point. The point is the best way to line your lips. 
The reason is, the point is precise enough to draw the line around your lips. Only thing though, it doesn’t come with a sharpener. Maybe Wayne should make one? I always love to have the right size sharpener to sharpen my lip and eye pencils. And, if you have ever tried to sharpen one of your makeup pencils, you know that no two points are the same. And no two sharpeners are the same. So, Wayne, would you please make an inexpensive pencil sharpener, or recommend one to us?
Wayne Goss Cosmetics Lip Collection Lip Liners Formula
To begin with, the lip liner formula glides on easily and melts into your lips. Although, Wayne says that the liner has the perfect balance of softness and firmness. Therefore, the lip pencil is khol, so it sharpens to the perfect point to line the lips.
Even more, the formula includes Zeolite to add a silky texture and smooth glide to the pencil.
Wayne Goss Cosmetics Lip Collection Lip Liner Shades
First, there are five lip liner shades in the Lip Collection. I really am in need for some new lip liners. So, I was able to purchase three if them. The shades I was lucky to get are Sepia Natural Berry and Mauve.
Sepia
First of all, Sepia, a deep brown mauve shade, has a matte finish. 
For me, Sepia is an everything shade. I will wear it with a lot of my nude, and bronze lipsticks.
Natural Berry
Next, Natural Berry, a berry pink shade, has a matte finish. 
This is the perfect shade to wear with all my berry shades and pink shades.
Mauve
Finally, Mauve, a deep brown pink shade, has a matte finish. 
For one thing, this will look amazing with my bronze, terracotta, and orange shades.
Cinnamon
I would love to have Cinnamon, a rich brick shade, has a matte finish. This is the only shade I could wear with red. Yet, thus far, Wayne hasn’t made a red shade. I hope he will consider it.
Vintage Pink
Finally, Vintage Pink, a pink-beige shade,has a matte finish. This would be a great shade to wear with pink shades. I haven’t seen it in person, yet, but it seems like it would be a good thing to have in my collection.
My Final Thoughts on the Wayne Goss Cosmetics Lip Collection………
First of all, this collection can be worn on everyone, of all ages, and skin tones! This is a capsule collection of must haves. The reason is, these are everyday colors for everyday women. I love that the shades are so universal, they are no brainer, must have, lipsticks. You can fudge on the colors because, after all, your own lips will shine through the lipsticks.
Above all, Wayne used high end ingredients, luxe packaging, buildable color, and hydrating finishes. There is no doubt that Wayne’s first collection is amazing, and wearable.
Even more, Wayne’s first foray into color makeup is classically modern.
For someone who knew nothing about making makeup, Wayne, you did a great job.
This is not your teenage daughter’s lipstick. The shades, and the formula are discerning, refined, classic, dignified and smart. And, they are still stylish and fashionable.
