The more Milk products I play with, the more I’m loving them. Recently I wrote a post on Milk Blushes and Bronzer, cheek and face color, which were the first products I tried from this new breakout line. ” My people” have shown lots of interest in the Milk Cosmetics since then. I don’t blame them for being excited because this line has a lot of extremely clever products. They have a great concept creating different packaging, different applications and different formulas and that’s what makes makeup lots of fun. And, the products are well made with “the best possible ingredients”.
Milk has stopped at nothing to create an avant guard “New York City Girl” chic cosmetic line. I want to show you another product (one of many) that I think is pretty neat and really clever : the Markers. One is an eyeliner, the other is a lip stain.
Yes, they are really felt tip Markers, just like the ones we used in school. However, don’t let your kids use these magic markers for their school projects, these markers are really makeup!
The Milk Eye Marker ($20.00) at Sephora, is called Black Sheep and is the color of black carbon. The Milk Lip Marker ($20.00) at Sephora comes in four colors. Boss is Red. TKO is Hot Pink, Turnt is Orange, and the one I have, Rare Breed, is Mauve.
I love the way Milk packages their makeup, very cool , exciting, and yet practical and to the point! The felt tip marker is chiseled for you so you can grip it for a precise application. The felt tip is multi-angled and uniquely slanted which makes it easy to outline and fill in your lips. Both eye and lip markers have intense color, and once on, they set quickly giving you long-lasting-twenty-four-hour weightless color.
You can line your eyes to look delicate, or dramatic.
Smooth the felt tip onto clean lips. You can also line Your lips with it and you can also use it as a base under a lipstick. The formula is long lasting and provides you with a full coverage lip stain that stays on all day.
The lip marker gives you opaque lip color in a matte finish.
I just think these markers are tooooo awesome. They go on like silk. The lip formula is hydrating so your lips don’t dry out from the stain, which is the norm with a lot of lip stains out there that leave your lips needing chapstick. I really love the sound the marker makes when you draw the color onto your lips! I love the slanted felt tip which allows you amazing control for lining your eyes, or outlining your lips.
An important TIP : Store the markers with their tips DOWN so that you will have optimal in flow through the applicator to the felt tip!!!!
The Markers are Paraben, Sulfate, Phthalate free, and vegan and cruelty free.
