How can you keep your face refreshed this summer? Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist ($48) is the perfect summer spritz that will give your skin a boost of hydration and the look of a luminous, radiant complexion.
The Tatcha packaging is beautiful. The bottle is a blush-lavender color that ombre’s down until the last 1/4 of the bottle becomes see-through clear, a window of sorts that will show you how much product is left in the bottle. Very clever of Tatcha to devise such a smart bottle! The bottle also has an elegant gold accent at the top. I don’t think this mist is travel-friendly because the bottle is glass, and glass breaks! But, it looks beautiful on my vanity!
To spray the refreshing mist, gently shake the bottle and spritz one or two times, holding the bottle approximately six inches from your face. Use it for boosting hydration. Use it as a final step, either before or after makeup application for glowing skin. I spray it before I put my on foundation for a lit from within glow. For a strong luminous look, I recommend spraying it after you have applied your makeup. Spray it on your foundation brush, or your blending sponge and use it with your foundation for a dewy glow!
The Luminous Dewy Skin Mist seems expensive for a face mist, and youmight feelyou want to pass on this one. But, hold on! This is no ordinary face mist. It is filled with amazing ingredients that make this a liquid moisturizer that has the consistency of a delicate emulsion. Silk Extracts, Red Algae, Canellia Oil, and the Tatcha Trademark Ingredient Hadasei – 3 Complex, a (proprietary blend of Okinawa Red Algae, Japanese Rice Bran, and Green Tea Complete DNA Extracts) are ingredients that have anti-aging and hydration benefits. Other ingredients included are sodium hyaluronate , humectants, silk extracts, licorice root extract, and natural fragrance.
As I spritzed my face ,out of the bottle came what appeared to me to be a silky, milky white emulsion. Once it hit my face it becomes totally transparent. The mist provided my with results that included luminosity, dewiness and it gave my skin a major boost of hydration.

I love the cool refreshed feeling on my skin has when I apply the spray. It never feels sticky. I love how soft and supple my skin feels. It is definitely a skin drinking product! I have dry skin, and it relieves the dry feeling I often have. I feel like I am pampering my skin throughout the day when I give it a spritz! I highly recommend that this should go into your summer – necessities survival bag, along with your SPF 50 Sunscreen!
