Sephora had me at phases of the moon. The reason is, I’m a sucker for anything that is out of this world! Hence, the 2018 holiday collection, Sephora Moon Phases Blush Palette , was enough for me. I had to have it. One reason is, I believe that the moon’s phases affect the way we feel about things. In fact, this is true especially for women. For example, we crave the mystical properties of the moon. Additionally,, we feel the power of the moon. As a result, the moon gives us energy and strength.
Also, I love a good blush palette. Not only is this a blush palette, it also includes highlighters and bronzers. Furthermore, the palette has nine moon phases. The three full moon pans are highlighters. In addition, the six half-moons are matte and pearl blush duos. Therefore, your face will look fresh in time for the holidays.

Of course, I am in love with the midnight blue box, depicting the sky, and the twinkling stars in the sky. Above all,I love that the eight moons show the waning, half, and waxing phases of the moon. To illustrate this, the moons are a matte gold shade. Then, the moon’s phases are shown with gold foil.
The compact is made from hard cardboard.
And, their is a plastic “window” so that you can look through it to see the moon phase eye shadows.

Shades
The eye shadow pans are round. There is a large highlighter in the center of the palette. Above and below the center, are two more, smaller, moon highlighters.
First, at twelve o’clock, is the new moon, a highlighter in a satin peach shade.
Next, at one o’clock, is the waxing crescent moon, a small pearlescent highlighter crescent and a matte blush in a nude soft pink. Next, the First Quarter moon, at three o’clock, is half a pearlescent highlighter and half matte true pink . Meanwhile, at five o’clock, the waning gibbous is a matte bronzer/blush and a thin crescent pearlescent highlighter in dark peach.
At six o’clock, the full moon is a metallic apricot shade.
Then, five o’clock, the waning gibbous moon is a burnt orange matte blush, with a pearled crescent. Next, at nine o’clock,half of the third quarter is a deep violet pearl, and the other half is a deep blue/pink matte shade. At eleven o’clock, the waxing crescent sliver is a pearled peach. The majority of the pan is a deep matte peach.
Finally, the large, pearled highlighter in the center is a full moon, or a new moon, depending on how you want to look at it.

Apply the three moon highlighters on the high points of your face. .To illustrate, use the highlighters on your cheek bones, on the bridge of your nose, and on your brow bone, Also, you can use it on your Cupid’s bow.
Next, apply the duo shades as blush, or contour. Use a blush brush, and start at the apples of your cheeks, then go upwards towards your sheek bones.
Sephora Moon Phases Last But Not Least……….
The moon phases change with the cycle of the moon. In this way, our cycles , be it fertility, or emotional, or mystical, change too. In a way, we recede and renew, as does the moon each cycle. As a result, we can change our makeup to suit our moods throughout the month. When you feel good, you might want to have a sun-kissed bronze look. Maybe, you’ll feel tired, or sad. Then, you may want to perk yourself up with a peach cheek. Also, you may feel renewed. Then, I would want a pink glow.
“I am the moon, and the moon is me.”Whatever you feel, you are like the phases of the moon. You can change your look as the moon changes hers.
