The Customizable Salt New York Palette is a magnetic, vegan makeup palette that comes in two sizes, Mini and Large. The palette is designed to hold the Salt New York collection of makeup tints that includes highlighters, bronzers, adjusters, and lip + cheek crèmes. You build your own palette. You can even use the palette to hold store makeup that you already own. Either way, I recommend you try out Salt New York’s dreamy, creamy vegan, fresh, and clean makeup. The best part is, you get to build your own palette. Salt New York guides you through your selections with four categories: The Sneaky Balm Skin Tint, Radiant Creme Tint Pro, Sculpt and Bronze Skin Tint Glow, and Lip and Cheek Skin Tint Glow. Choose one from each category, and you will fill the mini palette. However, if you are like me, and like to have choices, get the large palette, which holds eight Salt New York shades!

The Mini Palette exterior is 4″x4″x.75″. The interior magnetic base is 3.25″x3.25″x.25″, and has a weight of 4 oz. The Mini Palette holds 4 pans and Costs $20. The Large Palette exterior is 8″x5″x1″. 
The interior of the magnetic palette is 6.25″x3.8″x.4″. The weight of the palette is 14oz. The Large Palette holds 8 pans and costs $35.
The palettes are environmentally friendly, made with the highest quality post-consumer, recycled materials, and vegan leather. in a medium grey shade. Also, the palettes have a zipper closure. The brand doesn’t contribute to the 25 million tons of cosmetic packaging waste that occurs yearly! 
Inside, the palettes have nice large mirrors, according to their size. The magnetic board is opposite the mirror.
The makeup squares come packaged in simple envelopes made of post consumer recycled paper , and are also recyclable. The dimension of the squares is 1.3″x1.5″, and weighs .15 oz. 
When you slide the square out of the envelope, there is a piece of paper over the actual color, which protects the color in the envelope. 
The makeup is in a metal, magnetic pan.

Step One : Choose Your Palette
Choose either the mini palette, which holds 4 pans, which is one complete look, or the large palette, that holds 8 pans of makeup, if you like choices. 
I chose the Large palette, because I, at least, want to have a daytime look, and a nighttime look.
Step Two : Choose Your Sneaky Balm Tint
Think of Sneaky Balm Tint as a “tint concentrate.” The reason is, the ingredients include 35% pigment, which is what a medium coverage liquid foundation is made with. . By adding more pigment, than is typical of a “tint,” you’ll get the beautiful, evened-out-but-skin-still-showing effect of a tinted moisturizer or serum with an incredibly small amount of product applied to the face. According to the brand, you will get medium coverage. 
The Sneaky Balm Tint is lightweight, hydrating, and gives you seamless coverage with a soft, dewy finish. Nourishing, hydrating ingredients include pomegranate, jojoba, and grape seed oils. The formula is vegan, and cruelty free. The formula does not include talc, fragrance and no mineral oil. The Sneaky Balm isn’t as long-lasting as a liquid matte foundation, but it does last long for a hydrating skin tint!
The Sneaky Balm comes in 13 shades, ranging from N1 to N13.
I am medium light so I am N11. The shades go from N1 the darkest dark, to N13 the lightest light.
Step Three : Choose Your Sculpt and Bronze Skin Tint
You have options with this one. 
One way to use the Sculpt and Bronze Skin Tint is as a contour, the other way you can use it is as a bronzer, to give you a tan look. The formula is buttery soft, easy to blend, and offers sheer, buildable sculpting and bronzing with a soft, skin-like finish.
The formula is nourishing, and hydrating, with nourishing, hydrating ingredients like pomegranate, jojoba, & grape seed oils. The formula does not include ingredients like talc, fragrance, or mineral oil. There are six shades, from light to deep. I chose the shade Light/Medium.
Step Four : Choose Your Radiant Creme Tint Pro Highlighter
According to the brand, this is your ultimate highlighter. The formula is without glitter, or chunks. 
The formula is buttery soft and easy to blend. It gives you a sheer glow that is buildable. 
It gives your skin beautiful luminosity with the finish that looks like skin.
It comes in six shades, Pearl, Beige, Warm Tan, Gold, Rust and Bronze. 
I chose the Pearl Shade.
Step Five : Choose Your Lip and Cheek Creme Tint Pro
This is where you might want to purchase more than one shade. I purchased the shades Horny, and Rose. 
Also, when I was buying the shades, there were some shades that were on sale, so I purchased Coral and Peach, which are not choices anymore. 
Horny is a bright cherry red shade. Rose is a more subdued pink shade.
Peach, a bright orange shade, is on the pinkish side. 
Coral is more of an orange-red shade. The lip and cheek formula offers sheer, buildable coverage.
Also, the formula includes hydrating ingredients, making the Lip and Cheek Creme Tint buttery soft, easy to blend, sheer, buildable color , and a soft, skin-like finish.
Right now there are eight shades to choose from. 
The shades are pigmented and will give you a punch of color, when layered. The lip/cheek shades change, probably according to the season.
Finally, if you love your makeup organized, if you love sustainable makeup, an environmentally friendly brand, clean, vegan makeup that is hydrating, and the no makeup, makeup look, you will love this.
The Sneaky Balm makes skin look like skin! Skin looks smooth, and your flaws are covered. I love that it creates a subtle luminosity. The shades are pigmented, when you layer them! I layer the Sneaky Balm and it covers the freckle on my nose! I even layer it underneath my eyes, and the Balm covered the dark circles without me having to use a concealer.
If you want more depth, wear the Sculpt and Bronze Tint as a contour. If you want a tan look, use the Sculpt and Bronze Tint as a bronzer. Use the highlighter to add light to the high points of your face. And, for a daytime, no makeup makeup look, lightly apply the lip and cheek balm will give you a hint of color. For night, build the Lip and Cheek Balm until you reach the color intensity you want. The whole system is travel worthy! You’ll be able to take your makeup with you in a simple zipped case!
