First, a quick word about the Love Collection, think of all the events surrounding being in love. from the very first date, to the courtship, which leads to the engagement, where the wedding follows, and after the wedding is the honeymoon, and following the honeymoon are the anniversaries. That is where the Love Collection comes in. The look of being in love begins with your makeup! Love makeup is soft, neutral, peach or pink, shades that are creamy and luminous. The finishes are velvety matte and metallic textures. The three new palettes. are sister palettes.In other words, they are great when used own their own, and even better when the palettes are used together.
Reminiscent on the Bridgerton Collection, the artwork on the packaging, both the outer box and the palette, is a Pat McGrath Masterpiece of a red heart, white bows and lavender roses, with gold embellishments. Also the gold hieroglyphics, found on the front left corner of the outer carton, completes it. 
The cardboard palette has a magnetic closure.
Inside, underneath the lid is a large mirror, and opposite the mirror are the 6 circular eyeshadow pans embedded in black plastic. There are two horizontal rows of three shades each.
The creamy powder formula has a weightless texture, and intense color saturation.The shadows are easy to blend, and are buildable.
The mattes have a velvety soft finish, and the shimmers are multidimensional.
The shades are smooth, and they glide on for an easy application. You can create veiled, bright, and intense looks with the shades. The formula can be used either wet or dry.

Pat McGrath Velvet Liaison Eye Shadow Palette
This is the first all matte Palette from Pat McGrath. All six shades are neutral velvet mattes. 
The six petal soft cool and warm nude shades will flatter all skin tones. This palette is the perfect companion to the other two palettes. 
Use it for shaping the eye, and adding structure to the eye. Highlight with the lightest shade on the inner corners of the eyes, and on the brow bone. Use the deeper shades to contour the eye, in the crease and on the outer corners. Also, use the darker shades to line the upper and lower lash lines. The shades can be used wet or dry.
