New Multipurpose Byredo Color Sticks

These New Multipurpose Byredo Color Sticks are really awesome!  Recently, Byredo, a popular Swedish Fragrance Brand,  launched their brand new Makeup Line.  I know you must be thinking that the world really doesn’t need another makeup line right now!  However, Byredo teamed up with British Makeup artist, Isamaya Ffrench, and conceived a line of makeup that is unique. So far, the new line has introduced a mascara, lipstick, and an eyeliner.  Soon, will be the release of three new eyeshadow palettes.  However, the product that rocked my world are the New Multipurpose Byredo Color Sticks.  They are out of this world. Even more, they are a universal, multitasking color stick that can be used as an eyeshadow, blush, highlighter, and lipstick.  Above all, it comes in 16 unexpected shades.

Finally, the collection’s aim is to allow us to self express ourselves without the limits of outdated beauty standards!  Therefore, let your own intuition should choose your shades.  Also, allow your instincts to decide where you want to wear the colors!

You can find the New Multipurpose Byredo Color Sticks at Saks Fifth Avenue, Selfridges, and on the Byredo Website.  The Multipurpose Byredo Color Stick (0.015 oz./ 3g) costs $30.

The New Multipurpose Byredo Color Sticks Packaging

Let’s start with the description of the packaging for the entire Byredo Makeup Line, which is described as having “alluring shapes, and chic-looking metals!”  According to the creators of the line, ” the color story and high quality of materials are all essential elements, …but so are the objects that “contain” the cosmetics.  Therefore, each product is packaged in what I call an Object D’Art.

So, instead of looking at the cases as something you’ll toss, the packaging is the form and function of the product.  As a result, it is vital to the product itself.  And, the packaging is so unique, and so beautiful, you aren’t gonna toss it anytime soon!  Even more, the packaging is a real, visible, personal and sensual object that you can carry around with you.

The Byredo Color Sticks come in a chubby stick format. And, the bullet is as thick as a large mascara tube. Additionally, the silver bullet is a sleek, modern-looking, mirror.  It feels cold and weighty in the hand.  Also, the lid is a magnetic closure.  Therefore, you can pull off the lid.  Then, to put the lid back, just place it over the top.  In this way, the strong magnet literally pulls the lid down until it snaps shut.  The block writing on the tube is white.

Even more, the bullet has a curved tip.  This allows for easy application.  The tip distributes just the right amount of  product.
