The packaging is a tin .with a lid, that is 100%recyclable. 
There is a large mirror underneath the lid. 
The kit includes the six earth eyeshadow pencils, and a pencil sharpener. Also, each pencil has a lid. The tin box can be used to hold whatever you want, and I’d keep it and use it. 
Or, it can be recycled along with the wrapper that wraps up the collection. Itis sort of a box, but you can slide the tin box right out of it. These kits are great because the shades are curated, and the pencils are multi-taskers. 
The tin box is easy to transport, which makes the collection travel-worthy!
