Natasha Denona Tropic Palette will take you on a tropical vacation. All you need to do is choose a few of the 15 new shades that will create an eye from the tropics. Next apply the subtle nude shades to your eye lids and crease. The soft pinks, peaches and browns create a neutral looking eye. However, when you apply the vivid bright shades. you bring a pop of pure unmixed, undiluted color to the eye. And, the inspiration for the Eye Shadow Palette came from the hues of a tropical rain forest. Since, it’s from Natasha Denona, it’s an eye palette, and it has neutral mattes and vibrant metallics in Natasha’s cult classic formulas…what could be better? So, for me, it’s Paradise in an eye shadow palette! (To purchase the Tropic Palette click here. $129) If you are looking for the sunsets you’d see in Paradise, click here., and here.
Natasha Denona Tropic Palette Packaging

First, I love that the compact comes in a metallic, tropical blue box.

Next, I love the new plastic compact, also a Mediterranean blue! There are fifteen pans of eye shadow inside the palette.
Also, the palette includes a full-sized mirror!
Natasha Denona Tropic Palette Formula
Most important, Natasha’s cult-favorite formula created the shadows. First of all, the Cream to Silk coverage has ultra-saturated pigments, creating a high pigment payoff. Also, the formula layers easily. And, it has a creamy opacity, and the silky feel of a powder. Moisturizing botanical oils create the shadow’s velvety texture. As a result, the shadows glide on like velvet. Furthermore, the shadows melt into your skin. Best of all, there is no fallout. Moreover,, it can go from sheer to opaque. Additionally, the bold color payoff allows for the shade to remain vibrant, from the pan to the lid.
Natasha Denona Tropic Palette Formula Finishes
The Tropic Palette Eye Shadows come in four finishes:
Creamy Matte
The creamy matte finish is opaque. Also, it has no shine. Furthermore, it has a buttery, creamy feel. And, it blends easily with other shadows.
Sparkling
The sparkling finish is a sheer, sparkling topcoat. Pearls and Crystals reflect light, therefore creating a multidimensional brilliance. Generally, top coats are not shades with a lot of pigment. Topcoats go on top of another eye shadow shade, to create a glimmering, sparkling effect
Duo Chrome
Duo Chromes are reflective duo-pigments that Natasha hand-mixes herself. Also, they shift and transform as you move, creating a celestial sheen.
Metallic
Metallics have a lustrous, reflective finish. Micro-fine pigments and minerals mimic the look of liquefied metal on the eye lids.
Natasha Denona Tropic Palette Shades And How They Work
First of all, Natasha designed the palette to work in two different ways.
Horizontal
Horizontally, the top and center rows have the nude and pastel eye shadow shades.

For example, apply rows one and two to your eye lids, and in your crease. Last, the third horizontal row are the colorful, exotic, tropical shades.

And, Natasha suggests using them for your upper and lower lash lines.
Vertical
There are five vertical rows. Each row has three shades. Use the neutral, and pastel shades from the first two rows to apply to your eyelids and in your crease. Again, the bottom row has the colorful, exotic, tropical shades. Natasha suggests using this row for your upper and lower lash lines.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST
Most important, this is a fun, exciting palette. I am looking forward to creating many Summery looks with this palette. Also, I love the way Natasha thought out the placement of the shadows. First, she created the first two horizontal rows with the pastel and nude shades. For example, these two rows can be used as eye lid shades, or crease shades. And, the third horizontal row contains the fun, exotic, vivid tropical shades. Natasha suggests that we use these shades on our upper and lower lash lines. However, you can do whatever you want to create your own looks. I can’t wait to wear some of the vivid shades on my eyelids!
