I am always looking for THE concealer. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer ($30) is a ‘THE one’, especially because it’s excellent for those of us who have dry skin. But, you do not need to have dry skin to love this creamy concealer. It is an award-winning concealer, that does it all: it corrects, contours, highlights and perfects under the eyes, cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose above the cheekbones, and covering up anything else on your face that needs some covering up, like pimples maybe? I hate to admit that I still get a pimple from time to time.

It is perfect to use on every skin type. There are sixteen shades to choose from, so everyone will easily find their perfect shade!

Chantilly – for the fairest one of them all! A true Ivory shade.
Vanilla – for a fair complexion, it has a tinge of pink shade.
Creme Brulee – a newer shade, for fair complexions with light pink undertone
Camelle – a newer shade, for light complexions, light with peachy undertones
Honey – for light to medium skin tone, a warm peach tone
Custard- for light to medium skin tone, a yellow tone
Macadamia- a newer shade for medium complexions, medium with peach undertones
Ginger – for medium complexion, a medium with golden undertones
Biscuit – for medium-dark complexions, a natural balance of pink and yellow undertones
Caramel – for medium – dark complexions, a yellow and golden undertone
Chestnut – a newer shade for medium -dark complexions, a medium shade with pink
Amande – for medium – dark complexions, a medium dark with golden olive
Hazelnut – a newer shade, for medium – dark complexions, a medium dark with warm red
Cafe – for dark complexions, dark with warm red
Cacao – for dark complexions, a dark shade with deep gold-brown
Dark Coffee – a newer shade, for dark complexions, dark brown with olive

Even with my dry skin, my under-eyes do not crease with the radiant, creamy concealer, which is amazing because I put it on in the a.m. and by the evening, it is still concealing! It goes on easily, it is buildable, it looks natural, it stays put, and the finish is smooth. My skin looks flawless. It does a great job covering small imperfections, and I sometimes do put a green color corrector on first, and top it off with the concealer. I wear either the honey, because it has warm peach tones, and peach is amazing for covering dark circles, and it is light enough to give me a highlighted effect. I also use the Macadamia, especially when I ‘m tan, because it also has peach undertones, and it’s a little darker than the Honey.I love that there are hydrating skincare ingredients in the formula.

There is only one problem with the Radiant, Creamy Concealer, and that is when you can’t get anymore concealer onto the wand and doe foot, but you see that there is still a lot of concealer in the tube. You hate wasting money, and product! So what do you do? A Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer Lover was disgusted with this problem, and figured out a solution.

First, look at the top of the tube. There are five ridges in black, and you can see the wand in the black. Look closely at the first ridge between the wand and the larger ring in the black section, you see the indentation?
You need something with tip, like a kitchen knife, or a thin screwdriver. Wedge the point under the first ridge, and pry it off. It should pop right off like a cork in a wine bottle. What you just pulled off is the stopper, which controls the amount of concealer that will come out of the tube to be scooped up on the wand.
Now that the stopper has been pried out of the tube, all you need is a fine liner brush, which you can put into the tube and get the rest of the product out. The woman who discovered this method of being able to use your concealer til the very last drop, realized that there was almost 1/2 a tube of concealer left! We all owe her our thanks. She saved us money, because we still had lots of concealer left in the tube, and we didn’t need to waste it and get a new one. At least not for a very long time!!!!! And a little of the radiant concealer goes a very long way!
You Are Awesome!
Thank you to Tammy who invented a whole new way of using the concealer tube! Tammy, you are a genius!
