To begin with, I was browsing the Beautylish Website’s New Arrivals, when I came across the Miss Fame Lip Voyeur Cream Lipstick Collection. I didn’t know a thing about Miss Fame. However, I’m always looking for a great lipstick. As a result, I decided to give her lipsticks a try. Also, Beautylish has never steered me wrong! So, I purchased three of the 5 lipstick shades. And, then, I set out learning a few interesting things about Miss Fame. First, I learned that Miss Fame is a Drag Queen, a teacher, a makeup artist, a model and Drag Makeup Artist. Also, her real name is Kurtis Dam-Mikkelsen. At first, she moved from a small, isolated farm to New York City to become a male model. However, she ended up with a career as a makeup artist by day, and a Drag Queen by night.

Then, Miss Fame became famous when she became a contestant on Drew Paul’s Drag Race. In addition, Miss Fame’s social media following grew larger and larger. Moreover, Miss Fame recognized that the power of makeup can be transforming. Now she travels around the world teaching makeup techniques to others.

You can find the Miss Fame Lip Voyeur Cream Lipstick Collection on Beautylish, and on the Miss Fame Beauty Website. The Lipstick costs $19.
The Miss Fame Lip Voyeur Cream Lipstick Collection Packaging

First, the Lip Voyeur Cream Lipstick’s outer packaging is awesome. Miss Fame is the star of the outer packaging. However, each side of the box has a section of Miss Fame. So, three boxes show you the “whole” Miss Fame image!

However, the boxes wouldn’t let me place them next to each other. The reason is, strong magnets are in the lipstick tubes. As a result, the boxes kept pulling apart!

Also, lipstick tubes are really stunning. For one thing, they are mirrors of silver. I love their shape. Furthermore, they are feminine , yet they really make a statement. Last, they have strong magnetic closures. Therefore, the lid won’t come off, so your lipstick won’t get all dirty! Additionally, your handbag won’t get dirty from the lipstick bullet.
The Formula For the Miss Fame Lip Voyeur Cream Lipstick

To start with, heavily pigmented formula creates vibrance and offers full, opaque coverage. In addition, Avocado Oil conditions your lips so they look glossy and feel supple.Furthermore, the lipstick formula has a soft, delicate vanilla scent.
The Miss Fame Lip Voyeur Cream Lipstick Shades

There are five shades in the Lip Voyeur Cream Lipstick Collection. However, I only purchased three of the five shades.

First, Fame Whore, is a bright fuchsia shade. Also, Fame Whore is my favorite shade. For one thing, it is a vibrant shade of fuchsia. As a result, it brightens up your look.

Therefore, it isn’t so dramatic.

The Other Woman is Miss Fame’s go-to shade. This is because Miss Fame loves a deep, moody red shade!
The Miss Fame Lip Voyeur Cream Lipstick Last But Not Least…..

To begin with, Miss Flame was a painter and a makeup artist before she became a Drag Queen. Now, she is becoming more and more famous. She is right up there with other famous Drag Queens.
In fact, Drag Queens like Jeffree Star, and Patrick Starr are superstars in their own right.

For example, Jeffree Star began his makeup line with a few lip scrubs. Now, he has a multimillion dollar makeup business. Furthermore, last year, in New York, Patrick Starr was one of the main attractions at Ipsy’s Beauty Convention! And, the women were all over him! He was treated like a famous actor or a rock star! Patrick has over 4 million subscribers on Youtube. He got his start doing Drag tutorials! Miss Fame, now known for being, uniquely, ultra-glamorous, got her start as a Drag Race Contestant, on Rue Paul’s Drag Race Season 7! And now? She has her own collection of makeup. Also important to note, she is not collaborating with an existing beauty brand!
Everything We Know About Beauty We Learned From Drag Queens…….And You Thought It Was From Kim Kardashian!

Even Kim Kardashian claims she learned how to contour from Drag Queens. In fact, for decades the Drag Queen Community , although quiet about it, have been a powerful influence on how we make ourselves up. Years ago, the Drag Queen’s objective was to transform the face, using makeup, into a character. As a result, they borrowed from the theater. To explain, the theater makeup exaggerated the features of the performer so that the performer wasn’t washed out under the powerful lights on stage. Another reason was, so the people in the back of the theater could see the performer’s features. Above all, To be a successful Drag Queen, they had to know how to do makeup. And, that was just one ,of many, technical skills they needed to learn.

Drag Queens Invented Instagram Techniques
I’ll bet you didn’t know that all the techniques we see on Instagram, were techniques Instagram took from Drag Queens. For example, today, we emphasize our eyebrows. Also, the Airbrush Makeup Look is now “the normal.” Furthermore, contoured cheeks are not a Kim Kardashian invention! Nor are the strobing highlighters. Even false eyelashes were long-used by the Drag Queens, before Youtube ever existed! Even more, contouring, baking, highlighting and the cut crease all come from Drag Queens.

The makeup today, referred to as Instagram Makeup, is really Drag Makeup. Kylie Kardashian’s over-lined, plump lip isn’t hers at all. Instead, it is a hallmark of drag queen makeup. The Drag Queens are the true makeup artists. And, there is a big world out there that loves all of the makeup “bells and whistles” ! And, that is why Drag Queens have become today’s beauty influencers!
