Mac has “boldly gone where no man (or woman) has gone before” inspired by and commemorating the 50th anniversary of “Star Trek” with the Star Trek collection. Specifically, Mac celebrates the strong, powerful women of the Star Trek Fleet, the old and the new, namely: Deanna, Uhera, Seven of Nine, and the Orion Girl, Vina. These cosmic women had a powerful sense of style that ultimately contributed to making “Star Trek” ‘live long and prosper’ – a series that has become immortal.

The collection contains 25 pieces for the eyes, face and lips. The transcending and makeup celebrates the series’ 50 th anniversary, the beginning of the “Highly Illogical” Star Trek phenomena that is as popular, if not more so, today than it was 50 years ago!

“Beam Me Up Scotty, ” so we can talk about Mac Makeup ‘s Star Trek Collection that will be in stores today, September 1st!

The black matte box has Starfleet Command’s iconic logo on it in galaxy silver.

The ever-so-clever details never cease to amaze me where Mac is concerned. Their packaging is always oriented to the level of above and beyond fabulous. Take a peak at the inside of these boxes! Simply Dazzling! Mirrored, holographic effect, with Star Trek Logo again, only this time it is reversed-black logo on silver mirrored box! Love it!

What I love about Mac’s Star Trek Commemorative Collection……50 years, and still going strong- wow! Such memories. What other television show do we know has remained as loved now as it was a half a century ago! I remember watching the show on a black and white tv, sitting on my dad’s lap on Friday nights. Star Trek is iconic, a cultural phenomena that pushed gender and racial boundaries. Give it up for Mac, whose galactic shades for the face, lips, eyes and nails “gave her all she’s got”, and created a winning commemorative collection for Star Trek’s half century anniversary. The thing I love most about Star Trek is they set the stage for human beings to become the pioneers of space exploration, encouraging humankind to work together to accomplish it, and to “boldly go where no man has gone before!” What a vision ! So,” Live Long and Prosper” Star Trek, and may your next fifty years be long and prosperous!
