Were you lucky enough to get other-earthly, the beautiful pillowy, tri-colored highlighting and illuminating finishing powder from the Future Mac Collection? I hope so, because it was one of my favorite pieces from the collection, which became available last month. The collection is about the next generation of hyper-luminous mineralize makeup. This generation’s products reach new horizons of color, and include lip and skin products with unique textures and sparkle! Right up my alley!
The Future pout includes Mac Mineralize Rich Lipsticks. These lipstick glide on your lips and build color beautifully.
The Mineralize Rich Lipsticks are build-able, and very shiny!
Antireality mineralize glass is really shiny, with a slightly tacky feel. It has more glitter in it than it has pigment. It would make a great top coat over lipstick!
Future Eyes also includes a few eye choices. Nano Nude is a four color palette that consists of warm, gold, neutrals.
I love the effect of a glossy eye. It is a real Runway look. The gloss does have a tacky feel, and if you can get past the sticky feel on your eye lids, the look is really Runway Ready.
And last, but really gorgeous, are the Lustre Drops.
Barbados Girl Lustre Drops are a deep and intense bronze that highlights and can be used to illuminate the skin.
The Mac Collections are always coming at us, fast and furious.(and as the makeup junkie I am, the faster and the more furious the better!) It has been advantageous for me to pick and choose the collections I really like, or pieces from the various collections that personify the collection or are unusual and different for Mac. Many colors in the collections are repeats from other collections, so be aware of this before you end up with multiple products (like me). I have a habit of always buying an orange lipstick, from every line! I have boxes and boxes of orange lipsticks. My girlfriends tease me about this all the time! I know I am doing it, I just can’t help myself!
I really do love this Future Mac Collection. What I love about Future Mac…. I love the textures, and I love the’new horizon’ of colors in this collection. I have always loved shiny, sparkly, glossy textured “anythings”! So Future Mac is the perfect collection for me. It is an interesting take on the future of makeup. If the future of makeup really is headed in the direction of Future Mac, then count me in! I’ll be there!
